Dying Light 2 | English audio, your's language

Hi, do you need to separate the text language from the audio language?

It is really that simple.

Go to the folder:

Dying Light 2 -> ph -> work -> data_lang

You should have 2 folders here.:

1. speech_en
2. (yours language, for example, Polish) speech_pl

Delete speech_pl and now you have English audio and Polish text.

Thank you still for posting this though PDRON, I'm sure it helped many people. Given that enough time has passed for people to 100% their playthroughs as well I'm sure it was useful.

After today patch you can change language in the options so tutorial is useless now

Just remember that when game receives an update to put the folder back in otherwise you will be forced to re-download it.
Probably it would be better to rename it into speech_xx.bak instead of deleting. I suspect you could also move it into steamapps/downloading/534380/ph/work/data_lang, folder (you will have to create the directory structure) - it might not require you to put the folder back in when update comes (steamapps/downloading folder is used for downloading/updating and files there are moved back into game directory) but there is no way to verify that currently

there is no Russian language in the game. deleting the folder did not lead to anything(speech_en.). where to get a folder speech_ru?
