*OLD* How to fix typing bug

This is a guide on how to fix a 4 year old problem. Where you aren't able to type in the ubisoft overlay and/or in the ingame chat

The problem

These are some examples of the problem

1: Permanent fix

Ther is non right now. But will change when i/others find a fix

2: Temp fix

1: Alt+tab out of the game


2: Go to a typeble space and type (like Discord or google)


3: Tab back into the game and i should be fixed temporarily

Here are some answers to questions you might have on how to fix this bug

This bug doesn't seem to be caused by turning on/off raw input
This bug dosen't seem to be caused by overwolf overlays
This bug dosen't seem to be caused by tabbing out of the game while its loading
This bug dosen't seem to be caused by the steam overlay. That work independently from the ubisoft connect overlay
