Ra-Ra-Rasputin, lover of...wait, no, different Rasputin!

From Fox's animated movie Anastasia, this Russian rapscallion Rasputin worms his way into Disney Villainous!

Anastasia was created to be in direct competition with Disney's golden-age princess movies like The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast, just to say, "You're not the only ones who an make an amazing animated princess movie." In fact, I'd say they did so well that Disney wanted to swallow them up! (Disney owns Fox now, haha) Even so, Anastasia is a beautiful movie centered on a lost little orphan girl, Anya, who is truthfully the lost Romanov princess Anastasia. Rasputin makes his first appearance when Anastasia was just a girl, laying a curse on her family which ended in their demise, as well as his own. Only Anastasia and her grandmother escaped, but at a cost of amnesia and being separated from said grandmother, while Rasputin, making a deal with the devil, is sucked into limbo to live an eternity of being undead until his curse of eradicating every Romanov is complete.

In this game, you must complete that curse and defeat Anastasia. How you do so, like every other Villain who just needs to defeat a Hero to win, is different. Three different things factor into your game: the Reliquary, Magic cards, and your Vanquishing method. The Reliquary is a Relic card that must be claimed, similar to The Horned King's Black Cauldron. However, this can only be done by playing Bartok, a singular Ally card in your Villain deck. You could get lucky and have him in your opening hand, or he could be on the bottom. Thankfully, you have three discard actions and cards to help you mill through your deck with lightning speed. Once you have your Reliquary, you will be allowed to play Magic cards. Magic is a card type specific to Rasputin, functioning exactly like Allies with two differences. One, they can only be played if the Reliquary is claimed. Two, they gain Strength equal to the amount of Power that is on the Reliquary, which Rasputin can add to himself. This allows Magic cards to have a kind of exponential Strength increase. Finally, to Vanquish, you only have an Effect card to perform a Vanquish action; there are none in your Realm.

Anastasia's Strength can also grow like Magic cards. This custom comes with a Strength tracker, used to keep track of Anastasia's base Strength, which can be increased permanently through Fate if she is in the Realm. If she is out long enough, she can become quite a tough Hero to beat. Still, as an undead old man with a magic lava lamp, I'm sure you'll have no trouble at all!
