Just finished the scenario. I can tell a lot of work went in to it. The first 30 minutes or so were crazy. I had to switch over to a beefier PC to run it lol. Dealing with massive swarm attacks of missiles and drones was interesting. The amount of aircraft the Iranians throw at you is roughly the entire Iranian air force plus a little extra haha. It wasn't so clear at first, but from what I gathered this is some kind of alternate time-line story based on a novel (I had to look up the EB-1).
-Have some of the planes armed with the cluster bomb JSOW to better deal with the TELs.
-Add planes with ARMs other than the Growlers.
-Add longer endurance EW craft like the EC-37B.
-You noted that you don't want to get in to Naval stuff, but maybe 1 Ticonderoga near Bahrain to represent some SAM/Land attack of US Navy assets.
-A second CAP, or surge of defending Middle East Coalition fighters closer to the shore that triggers when Iranian weapons enter friendly airspace. RED ALERT, everybody scramble!
A couple things with the missile bunkers. I know you addressed some of this in the side briefing. I would guess that a good amount Iran's launch facilities are known by US intelligence, though plenty would not be known. I am guessing this is intentional, but in the scenario they are impossible to detect even as they fire with a drone overhead. With a set amount of time and strike craft, (taking them out costs a lot of bunker busters!) I think you should give the player an option to strike these targets, even if it gets you no points. It is frustrating to see a trickle of missiles coming out of a mountain with nothing you can do about it.
Maybe a split between auto detected, detectable and few undetectable deep in Iran.
All in all a good "What if?" scenario. Curious to see where you go with it.
1 - Wait for Matrix Games to release an Official update via Steam.
2 - Use the Beta update (1147.42) released on the Matrix Games Forums to update your game.

This update also apparently increases the games performance in certain situations too, but I haven't had chance to test it in this scenario yet.
The screenshot is from a game that I used to play regularly - Strike Fighters 2 by Thirdwire. Unfortunately, it's been somewhat abandoned and only the community over at Combat Ace and similar sites are keeping the game going. The SF series is / was meant to be in the "sim lite" category between Ace Combat at one end and DCS at the other.
