Lok-1 Full build and guide

After using the Lok-1 for over 10 promotions I have created this video going over every option and upgrade I take with the Lok-1 Smart rifle, from my secondary all the way through to the perks. With the unique play style regarding the smart rifle I feel the entire build is even more important with this gun.

I properly tried the build now. It is fantastic! Love the reasoning behind it and the laser focus on one specific job.

Shame, i use the same exec build, it's pretty good. I agree with almost everything in the loadout, though passing up fatboy is not very rock and stone. Stun on turrets and Second Wind are also pretty solid if not arguably better for Lok1 as this gun struggles a bit with keeping bugs away from you. Still doesn't beat explosive/shock Lok1 for me though. Lok1 is as shockingly underrated as the M1K, GK2 and Zhukovs are.

The example where you suicide with the fatboy isn't very good btw, you could have just jumped, shot a bit further away and taken the swarm all at once without any risk of taking damage. I'm in this situation constantly and it works perfectly fine. The area denial and sheer ammount of bugs you kill at once more than justify the ammo count, not to mention fatboys allow you to erase huge swarms from war away before they get to the point of surrounding you like in the example. That's why people take fatboy.

People seem to dislike videos in the guides section
There is a lot of hate for the Lok-1 it seems
Is a long video to get through
People might not agree with my suggestions

I will cross my fingers you get it soon. Executioner you can do something similar, you may well need ammo at tier 1 though. You could go the tier 3 ECR and T5 electrical if you can live without super blowthrough. I would still stick with less locks. Remember with seeker you can shoot through walls like a breach cutter also! R&S!
