so far I just re arranged my sandbags and turret placement so it look a little like a star, but this is a test, I think I'm going the full experience will be on once I leave my mountain forteress for a more standard map

Good luck with you! I will suggest using Fortifications - Medieval and Ra2 Bunker to Medieval Tower retexture, to make actual defensive bastion wall

I'm going to make own star vauban bastion now

in that case, I will suggest using Map Designer, you can get bigger river with it without digging by yourself

I'm thinking of making bigger/deeper river, maybe even some kind of canal...
