Ukrainian Frontier Russian Force Buildup Map, 2021 12/25/21 (Map 3)

Description
This is a Non-Playable Scenario designed to map the relevant Russian forces around the Ukrainian Frontier in the midst of the Russian Force Buildup that began in late 2021. This Scenario shows forces as of Christmas, 2021. It maps the maximum force structure available to the Russian Military along the Ukrainian frontier, including Ground Forces, VDV, RNI, VKS, and VKS-PVO elements. It should be noted that all of these forces may not be mobilized (such as elements assigned to Klintsy, which was apparently empty prior to reinforcement.) and thus this should be considered an 'Upper Bound' for Russian Forces. The equipment of some formations is notional where information on their specific composition was not forthcoming. Each unit marker on the map generally should be assumed to represent a Battalion or Battalion Tactical Group (BTG) strength element. (The exceptions are Airbases, Military Bases and Naval Vessels.) The Unit Markers are spaced for visibility and not placed in their specific locations. Specific unit location references should note the specified marshaling grounds and bases on the map, and consult the Russian Side briefing. The briefing contains a detailed Order of Battle for the Forces mapped, including their basing locations. If you have specific information on unit composition or specific units that aren't mobilized feel free to pass it and I'll update the map resultingly.
So, in summary:

This is a NON-PLAYABLE scenario. It is a mapping project.
This Map represents the MAXIMUM AVAILABLE FORCE STRUCTURE to the Russians, some of which may not be mobilized. (Yet?)
Unit markers are spaced for visibility, except for base locations themselves, which are specific.
Generally unit markers indicate BTN/BTG strength formations.
Unit equipment compositions are notional where specific information was not available to the author.
The Russian Side Briefing contains a detailed Order of Battle, as well as sourcing information and should be consulted heavily.

Rickardus: The Ukrainians are generally being very circumspect regarding their defensive deployments, but there also haven't been any large scale mobilizations. If I have time, and that's a fair sized if, I intend to map placeholder/typical Ukrainian Mil placement near at least the Donbass Border. I should have time to map Ukrainian Airbases and AD HQ Facilities as well.

Additionally Map #4, 2/4/22 is now online. Thank you all for your interest and support!
