i loved this game so much every-time i complete it i cry
it just shows how beautiful friendships can be and what stuff you go through

That's indeed really sad.
Because of that, I'm working on mod for Kingdom Hearts 3 where we will be able to explore Insomnia before the invasion, in a bigger expanded version, with lot of dialogues with characters, NPCs, treasures to find, various interactions, placed I recreated from VS XIII etc! a huge asset, too bad we can't play it and there's no story of us touring the city before it fell 😢

@Laraxian oohh I see, thank you for clarifying. It's been over 2 years since I last played FF15 and I hadn't played Episode Ardyn yet (didn't own it at the time). I felt like reinstalling FF15 and just happened upon this video

The city is in the game like this, it's part of Episode Ardyn.
I'm also making a mod for Kingdom Hearts 3 with this city and my own expansions added to it, to add areas from VS XIII etc...

So wait, was the entire city really just sitting in the files, or is this a mod that tweaks the "future" version into this?

Can't believe we didn't end up being able to truly explore Insomnia...

I remember the first trailers and luminous engine reveal videos, it made me feel that we would end up really being here for a while, doing quests and driving around.
