Battle of Petrikowka, The Italian Baptism

"September 27th, 1941. The CSIR (Corpo di Spedizione Italiano in Russia), under the leadership of Generale Giovanni Messe has been chasing the Soviets from the Bug river to the Dniestr since August, but it seems a proper battle approaches the Italians as they cross the Dniestr. The soviets make a stand and the time has come for the Italians to prove their worth against the 47th tank division and a number of Soviet Rifle divisions.

Can you lead Corpo di Spedizione Italiano in Russia to victory? Can you not only complete your objectives, but also impress your German allies? Will you secure early glory for the Italians in the east or walk in the path of shame of the early Italian failures?"
