Weapon Evolutions - A Visual Guide

A visual guide to what weapons can be evolved, and how

Evolution Prerequisites

There are 4 requirements if you are seeking to Evolve your weapons.

• The Weapon itself at level 8 or higher
  
• 10 Minutes gametime passed
  
• It's Corresponding Power-up
  
• A chest from a rare enemy

If you have met these 3 requirements, upon opening the chest your weapon will evolve.

Evolution Recipies

Currently there are 7 available Evolutions, they are as follows:

• Whip + Hollow Heart

• Magic Wand + Empty Tome

• Knife + Bracer

• Axe + Candlabrador

• Cross + Clover

• King Bible + Spellbinder

• Fire Wand + Spinach

you dont need to wait 10 minutes. as soon as you got the requiered items, it will evolve. just evolved a weapon at 6:15 min

@Island Boy, can confirm you can get both birds on Library, and can confirm you can get both without maxing out one (got both, on library, with level one Ebony)

Perraclone (White Bird) + Ebony Wings (Black Bird) is the Vandalier (looks like some colorfull tropical bird).

This one is odd for several reasons:
* both are weapons
* both need to be level 8
* The Evolved Weapon can still be leveled up, starting again at level 1
* you may need Perraclone on level 8 to even get Ebony Wings as option
* The evolution does free up one weapon slot

So in effect Peraclone is now a weapon with 24 levels - if you keep one weapon slot in reserve to evolve it.

I get ebony wings all the time. I have a hard time getting Peachone though. If nothing else, using the genie looking guy you can start with ebony wing.

Note that it's level 8 peachone AND 8 ebony wings which combines the 2 items down into one item, that can also be upgraded to level 8. It has insane DPS. I think the ebony wings only spawns on the forest stage or I got unlucky on the library.
