FN FAL

Description
The FAL is a battle rifle that was adopted by many countries of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), with the notable exception of the United States. It is one of the most widely used rifles in history, having been used by more than 90 countries. And now "The right arm of the Free World" is available for Xenonaut usage.

I always found it weird that the FAL wasn't included in the base game. Well not anymore. No research or money needed to arm your troopers with the FN FAL. You'll be going full Bush War on the Xenos in no time!

I balanced this gun to be useful in Veteran difficulty in mind. So it might be a bit OP on easier difficulties, but as a standalone mod you can use it anyway you want!

I think FN or FN_FAL the mod shouldn't be too hard to find in the Xenonaut mod file.

You'll need an older .xml editor to properly edit the file values. New versions will edit the file but not save and will revert to the original stats or just straight crash the game. The official forums for the game has great resources on editing files ect.

how can i change the stats of the fal?
it shouldnt be that acurate with bursts, being hevier than the origial rifle it should have negative reaction multiplier, and it also should be heavier
all this would mean its not so much a replacement of the m16, but its has a really good use in combat as a intermidiate between the rifle and the sniper

Problem solved, it was the XM25 mod that messed it up
