Description
This mod allows campaign players to grant any mercenary gold/xp/perks/prosperity/reputation, unlock any enhancement/class/item/quest/city event/road event, and offers a few QOL changes, all from an in-game interface and with zero spoilers*.

*except one P4 item name

Ideal for:
  1. Players who want to unlock everything in campaign and free play specific scenarios, trying out various compositions of classes/cards/items.
  2. Board game vets who want to move to digital and quickly transfer most of their campaign progress without having to deal with coding/save editing and without spoiling content they have not yet unlocked.

Notes
To use this mod
Install from Steam workshop, create a ruleset including the mod, and begin a new campaign. That's it!

Mod features
Mod Merchant - To grant/unlock things, visit the merchant and navigate to the 'Small items' tab. The various grants/unlocks are alphabetized at the bottom of this tab as zero gold item purchases (at 0 reputation). Purchasing the corresponding item grants the unlock listed in the item name. These are described in detail in the Mod Merchant section of the Reddit post linked below:

Spoiler-free - Class unlocks use class spoiler names (Angry Face, Circles, etc.) and scenario/item/event unlocks use the card numbers from the board game. This allows for easy board game conversion or spoiler-free lookups if you are a digital-native player.

Supports default campaign or free play - This mod can be used to edit the game to whatever completion is desired (including brand-new default campaign state) without conflicting with the remaining part of the campaign: quests, characters, items, and events will trigger and unlock as normal.
  • 'Unlock everything' buttons are available for classes, items, and scenarios.
  • Campaign starts with no road events to enable quicker free play travel and both city/road decks are fully customizable, including a single button to either restore decks to the fresh campaign default or block all events permanently. City/road events added or destroyed via the mod will not duplicate if then triggered again by campaign rewards.
  • All personal quest scenario requirements are removed, meaning they can be replayed casually after being unlocked despite the PQ-holder not being in the party. Notably, scenario 54 is changed so that only the staff being equipped is required to enter the scenario and the staff-wielder is considered the PQ holder for the purposes of the scenario rules.

QOL features for board game players - a set of features to make moving between board game and digital easier.
  • Items now have item number appended to the end of their names.
  • Scenarios have scenario number appended to the front of their names (meaning scenarios are now 'alphabetized' in the same order as the BG scenario book).
  • Retirement timing can now be controlled, allowing items to be sold and enhancements to be purchased prior to retirement.
  • All personal quests are discarded after a single use and a new repeatable Foreverquest enables quest-less mercenaries to be created even if all other PQs are gone.
  • A 'zzUTILITY: Campaign Chest Selector' quest is available to allow completionists to quickly loot chests earned in a prior playthrough. These will reflect as looted in their respective scenarios.
  • Win Game items are available for quick scenario completion or PQ farming.
  • Option to add unnerfed stamina potions to the game. This is the single spoiler for the P4 Major Stamina Potion.
  • Scenario 82 has 'good' reward outcome always instead of 'bad' reward outcome always.
  • Scenario 53 no longer grants Scenario 54's completion event reward. Scenario 54 now correctly grants it instead. Edit: now fixed in live

Compatible with Win Game Items mod, which will add the ZZZ Targetable Cleaner item--this allows only targeted enemies to be killed.

Im having an issue where I cant remove a character from slot 4, if i try to go to their profile nothing pops up. Any resolution for that?

@srobison62 GHEM will fix any saves go-forward. If you want to get your existing save to show up, you need to rename it (it is still broken) to remove the extra underscore.

Go to C:\Users\Your_Username\AppData\LocalLow\FlamingFowlStudios\Gloomhaven\GloomSaves\Campaign to find the save files. You will see your file named 'Campaign_[MOD]_yourmodname_otherstuff'. You need to remove the underscore after the first [MOD] so that the file name becomes 'Campaign_[MOD]yourmodname_otherstuff'. This will make your game see the save file, and then GHEM should prevent it from being renamed going forward.

Thank you for your help, I tried GHEM and i moved over the GH.Runtime and ScenarioRule LIbrary folder but i still dont see it, where should I be loading from?

@srobison62 there is a known (and likely permanent) issue with any modded Gloomhaven games that causes the save file to get renamed, preventing the game from finding it when you reload. A user created GHEM, which solves the bug and is more or less mandatory for any mod usage: https://github.com/Acenm5/GHEM

Issues with saving. I have run this mod 3 times and everytime when we try to play again i have to create a new campaign. Is there a step im missing?

@Michelangelo it won't work perfectly.

* Due to how the mod loads, it will remove all JotL road events from the road event deck. There is no way in the mod to add them back in. This will mean that when you travel to a JotL mission, you will not draw an event (meaning nothing those events unlocked can be unlocked, either).

* There is no way to unlock JotL items/missions. You will need to use the ZZZ win game items to quickly beat the scenarios.

* JotL character XP/Perks/Gold can be edited as normal using the mod.

I don't have any plans to add JotL to this mod because JotL mod support was never built by the devs. To mod JotL items/scenarios/events etc, I have to make a copy of them in this mod, which would make them available to people who did not purchase the expansion.

@catsniffer9000 there's not an easy way to enable mods mid-campaign (it is possible, just not easy--I link to a discord post I made explaining the process below). If you're missing items that are sitting in the shop, you might just want to edit your save file and give yourself some extra gold to gear everyone back to where they should be. I haven't played the game for a year or so, loaded up my old save and I swear some of my party's items have gone missing? Torso and Head Armour mainly.
Can I use this mod mid-save to add my tat back on? Thank you!
