The list goes on and on, the point is, in order to even understand the basic PREMISE of even CLICKING on the portrait of Bacchus, you must be an educated and enlightened individual.

II. Gameplay

I am not a certified autist on items, most generic support builds or builds you find online are good for supporting your team. Same goes for min max autism, this guide is more focused on the strategy than the logistics.

TROLLchus: The Psychological Weapon

In competitive games, the meta will define each season's top tier characters, besides the fact that some gods just have really bad kits which unfortunately cannot make up for their performance even when synergized with proper ADC/ team support.

Then, there is Bacchus. Bacchus is an original god from the beta release of Smite, he is as old as time itself and in reality has always been a decent pick. Yet, in modern smite, with tons of fancy skins, updated gods, and years of developed meta, Bacchus becomes something of a relic.

Playing Bacchus is an act of rebellion, it is an act of grievance amongst the yaoi and coomer bait god skins, and the PATHETIC IDEA of the "meta." The psychological damage of seeing a high mastery Bacchus is severe and impeding. It sends the zoomer g fuel coomer into cold sweats, it sends the autism 30 Mastery ADC into a terrible panic, and it signals to the rest of the game you are an individual of class and intelligence.

As a BACCHUSbro, it is your job to harass the enemy both in game and mentally. VGS laugh spam, dance in tower with the dance emote, VGS taunt the enemy, and steal kills to MOG your ADC(even if queued with a friend) and show the enemy team you mean business.

You should be a chaotic cognito hazard. I would recommend not using default skin Bacchus, as he is too jolly and too SOY. Instead, embrace classic skin Bacchus, who wields a sadistic smile ready to NTR any other male god at a moments notice.

Dabbing on Fools

Other than playing support role basics, such as spacing and proper team fighting, here is the Bacchus combo.

2> 3> 4(ultimate) Also make sure to be drinking at all times to get maximum prots and buffs. Level your 3 first, then 2, then 1. From there level 2 and 3 at your own discretion and save 1 for last. Bacchus is also an excellent initiator, capable of two stuns and a powerful CC ult that is instant unlike Geb or Ymir. You will make the enemy team cry and soil themselves once you have mastered his combo.

If you want to be cheeky, for your relic grab blink to pursue fleeing gods, or heavenly wings to give your ADC and allies speed buffs. You will have so much health that aegis and beads are not required. Belt of frenzy is also another classic option.

Holding the Front

As well as being a good initiator, Bacchus is an extremely capable front line defender. On the retreat? Cheekily bounce pursuing gods and belch them. Losing a teamfight? Ult to allow your teammates an avenue of retreat while the enemy is confused. Bacchus can also gank to help initiate smaller fights in the early game, don't underestimate his abilities.

Unlike cheese tier CC supports , Bacchus is the man's support. He is a brawler, a brute, a killer, and a warrior. There's no grabs, no giant radius CC circle spam, just precision bounces and mighty thwacks of meat upon the enemy. However, it still takes a great deal of practice to achieve god tier jukes and bounces, especially when dealing with fast enemies or being out of position.

The Supposed "Counters" or "Threats" to Bacchus

The counters to GODCCHUS THE INDOMITABLE are usually those same cheese supports aka "meta" supports that are capable of silencing you or negating your initiating pokes. Warriors with brawling kits and not coward kits are also a major threat. Anything that can counter your silence burp, bounce, or negate your ultimate is a threat. Some I have come across include Athena and Gilgamesh. ADC's and Junglers are incapable of thwarting your BULK muscle supported by your build. They may do "damage," which is only a threat to a squishy, as long as you maintain distance and focus in team fights you will be nigh unstoppable.
