N.B. If you are using Healers Belt (ID=itbe_mod_alchemy) while making pure mana/health potions (the full health/mana potions), you get a +1 to maximum either Mana or HP by drinking that potion.

Required level of Alchemy skill

Perma potions requires Alchemy level 3 which is possible to learn from Bodowin in Chapter 2:

• Alchemy level 1 = 10 LP + 200 GP.
  
• Alchemy level 2 = 20 LP + 700 GP.
  
• Alchemy level 3 = 30 LP + 2500 GP.

(sum = 60 LP + 3400 GP)
OR from Hershlik, alchemist in the City -- if you are his apprentice AND he is your first master/employer, in that case your study will cost same LPs but zero GP (and is posssible in Chapter 3 or later).

Recipes of permanent potions

• You can buy from
  
  1. Bodowin after completing quest in which you return to him his stolen supplies (Chapter 2):Walking west of Bodowin's house you once discover a corpse and the men standing near, the men asks you for help... so in result of that short quest you will receive the pack of Bodowin's supplies, which you can bring him, that will update his store with 2nd and 3rd levels recipes.
     
  2. Hershlik, the alchemist in the City (Merchants square), in Chapter 3+.
     
  3. Yezegan the alchemist in the Wolf's Den, in Chapter 4, after quest "Journey to the Centre of the Mine";
• Recipe of "Elixir of Life" (+25 HP) can be found in Chapter 3 in the treasure chest at Misty Swamp after the quest named "Buried Treasures" (quest giver = old pirate Moritz)

Fish fillet with king's sorrel (+15 max HP) = 2x King's sorrel + 10x Fish + Bag of pepper + Salt.
The receipt can be bought from the miscellaneous trader at western cave of Scoundrels' Haven (Chapter 3+).

King's sorrel soup (+3 max Mana) = 2x King's sorrel + 12x Milk + Salt.
The receipt can be bought from the miscellaneous trader at western cave of Scoundrels' Haven (Chapter 3+).

Noodles with goblin berries (+ 3 DEXterity) = 2x Goblin berries 12x Honey + Sack of flout + Fat Chunk.
The receipt can be bought from Ezekiel at Silbach (Chapter 3+).

Bread spread from dragon made dragon root (+ 3 STRength) = 2x Dragonroot + 12x Cheese + a bag of pepper + Salt.
The receipt can be bought from Ezekiel at Silbach (Chapter 3+).

Herbal Troll Soup (+3 protection + 5 max HP) = 2x Earth aloe + any meat + a bag of pepper.
The receipt can be:
1. bought from Ezekiel (Silbach) in Chapter 4.
2. stolen in the Chapher 3 in the Old Town, on the upper floor of Ernesto's house.

Boar stew on wine (+1 max HP) = 3x fried boar meat + 1x Perennial Wine + Bag of pepper + Salt.
The receipt can be bought from bartender Gerstand in the pub near the Eastern Gates of the City. Also you can get the recipe from Albyn's maiden in Silbach in Chapter 1 when you demand a compensation for the job. If you stock up on Perennial Wine and save all your boar meat (requires exploring of course) it easily equals 100 HP, because boars respawn in great numbers in between chapters.

Eating food that gives permanent stats

• every 1x Fried Troll Meat = +1 max HP
  
• every 25x Apples = +1 STR *
  
• every 25x Raspberries = +1 DEX *
  
• every 50x Dark Mushrooms = +5 max Mana *
  
• only once — 25x Stings of bloodfly = +25 max HP **
  
• only once — 25x Minecrawler's mandibles = +5 max Mana **

* Apples, raspberries and mushrooms also work when eating cookings made of them.

** Regarding to stings and mandibles -- you may need to read the 2 respective books about it beforehand. Someone in merchant guild sells them and they are really expensive (I think 1000 g per book).

Hello, I get the event with Fellar so that I can deliver the package to Bodowin sometimes in chapter 2, but sometimes only in chapter 3. Is there a trigger so that I can get the event safely in chapter 2?

Some "Ernesto's" wine raise permanent stats too. You can find them in the brothel and from... Ernesto.

So uh, basically noodles with goblin berries are good alternative once you run out of King Sorrel to make dexterity potions since they need 1x goblin berry and gives +3DEX while noodles need 2x goblin berry with the same outcome? Is there chance to buy King Sorrel from some merchant for instance? From what I reckon King Sorrel does not renew after chapter's end, true?

Also, a little of topic, I’m trying to min-max my stats and get 3 tries in the gold mine. But I’m struggling with “Who is who” quest. I cannot tell the merchant that the miners are being framed. I can only blame them or say that I failed. This seems as the only reason why I’m failing the quest and getting miners to try to kill me. What am I missing? I think I’ve spoken with everyone…

If you eat 25 stings of bloodfly, you gain +25 maximum HP, but stings lose all effect afterwards, so they no longer heal you (the effect only works once).
If you eat 25 minecrawler's mandibles, you gain +5 maximum mana, but it also works only once.

You may need to read the 2 respective books about it beforehand. Someone in merchant guild sells them and they are really expensive (I think 1000 g per book).
