Описание
Removes the canal graphic in directly coastal cities. Coastal city centers often show a canal graphic where it's sometimes undesirable and out of place. This mod removes the graphic and only shows it when necessary.

Occasionally the canal graphic can be a helpful or needed indicator for some mechanics, this mod allows a few of those exemptions where showing the graphic (i.e. not removed) makes sense. The first exemption is when a city is adjacent to a canal district, that city should, of course, show the graphic to link both canals. Second, if the city is founded on a tile connecting two bodies of water, the graphic should be shown to indicate that that city is a Canal City, navigable by naval units passing through. Third, if found on a cliff the city should show the graphic suggesting that land units can indeed embark/disembark there.


No gameplay changes were made in this mod.

The mod would be like, when you reach the future era and the (Modern to Information Era) buildings graphic in the city center would stay the same

Can you make a mod where it removes the Future Era City Center Buildings Graphic, wasn't really a big fan of them, the placement of them would often look messy, and its also unsatisfying to see certain buildings in the city center to be removed when you reach the future era.

Will this work with 2nd unique infrastructure's Gracht??
i.e. inland city (no canal) connects to sea by Gracht, now city gets canal.

@[PIGZ]MrTango that is ABSOLUTELY one of the few flaws of this mod. You know how BADASS a city one a peninsula surrounded by cliffs would look sans canal?

So I have Sukritact's Yongle's Grand Canal, does that count or is it only the Grand Canal Wonder mod?

Suez Canal is compatible but Grand Canal is not (city canal graphics will not follow this mod's restrictions with Grand Canal enabled), and the Grand Canal mod author has no desire to fix whatever he broke when he borrowed Leugi's Suez code. Good to know it wasn't this mod that was broken though, I despise the city canal on coastal cities.

The Mod Grand Canal was my conflict. Removed it and now everything's good.
