DeSoto Decals and How to Get Them

This guide will show you the decals and where you'll find them and how to destroy them. This must be done during the driving challenges. Some objects must be run over and others must be shot with Sam's pistol.

Tip: It'll be a lot easier to get the objects if you remove the goggles.

Decals in Episode One

Decal 1: Blimp
How to get: You'll see it in the sky. Just shoot it down with the pistol. OH, THE HUMANITY!

Decal 2: Bowling Pin
How to get: A stack of bowling pins appears in the center of the road. Run them all over. STRIKE!

Decal 3: Cheese Wheel
How to get: It can be seen rolling towards either the left side or the right side of the road. Run it over quickly or it'll get away.

Decal 4: Piano
How to get: Can be seen dangling above the right sidewalk. Shoot it quickly before it passes. LOOK OUT BELOW!

Decal 5: Golden Elmer
How to get: Run over 50 or more Torture Me Elmers during the driving challenge.

Tip: You can speed up or slow down the car in this episode.

Decals in Episode Two

Decal 1: Telltale Hot Air Balloon.
How to get: Shoot it out of the sky.

Decal 2: Safe
How to get: Can be seen dangling above the left sidewalk. Shoot it down.

Decal 3: Kitchen Sink
How to get: In the original, it used to to be dropped from the rooftops on the right side, but the developers changed it. It now rests on the right sidewalk. Run it over.

Decal 4: Giant Tire
How to get: It can be seen rolling to either side of the road. Run it over quickly.

Decal 5: Golden Bagpipe
How to get: Complete all driving challenges in the Episode.

Decals in Episode Three

Decal 1: Beach Ball
How to get: Can be seen bouncing across the road. Run it over.

Decal 2: Keg
How to get: You'll find it on the front yards left of the road.

Decal 3: 3D Prism
How to get: It'll be moving randomly across the road. Run it over.

Decal 4: Satellite Dish
How to get: Just like the Keg, it'll be on front yards, but on the right side of the road this time.

Decal 5: Golden Zombie
How to get: Deliver discs to 25 zombies.

No Decals in Episode Four

Decals in Episode Five

Tip: You'll have to shoot rats to get the car to move. It'll only move to the next rat coming up.

Decal 1: Futurustic Flying Car
How to get: It flies down the middle of the road above. Shoot it.

Decal 2: Kris' Donuts Giant Donut
How to get: Rolls to one side of the road left or right. Run it over.

Decal 3: Giant Rubber Duck.
How to get: You'll see it floating in the skies from the left side and I'm not kidding, it is HUGE. Shoot it.

Decal 4: Soccer Ball or Football if you're from Europe.
How to get: It bounces randomly on the road. Shoot it.

Decal 5: Golden Rat
How to get: Shoot 25 rats, but don't let your car hit too many.

Tip: By now you should have all decals. If you don't have the car upgrade as promised, try playing the driving challenge and completing or failing it one more time in a particular episode that you didn't get the upgrade in.

Nope was me being an idiot… mostly. I did all the bagpipes in episode 2 and had the gold decal. In episode 5 I looked close at the poster for decals and saw that the bagpipe decal was bronze. I went back to e2, got gold, loaded up e5 and it popped for me.

@Xerios If all else fails, it's probably a really rare bug. Talk to the developers about it.

I'm having the same issue as Aguijon - all decals obtained, no achievement. This is rough. I replayed chapter 4 of episode 5 and obtained all again, no dice.

Update: So you need to hot foot it over all 50 Torture me Elmers to get things in Episode one. Will update if more is found.

@Agiojon_49 If you still don't have the achievement, I recommend talking to the developers about it. You did everything right, but something still went wrong. I can't help you there, but maybe the developers can look into it.
