How to enable quicksave/quickload

Just find gothic.ini (steamapps\common\TheChroniclesOfMyrtana\System) and change the line
useQuickSaveKeys=0 into =1
now you can press F5 to quicksave F9 quickloads, there is only 1 quicksave slot and you can only access it with those shortcuts.

This is a gothic engine 'feature' not a steam one, it will not work in other games.

Does this work with other Steam games like Janitor Bleeds?

Althought technically possible to write a simple keyboard script that would just press F5 for you every 5/10 min or w/e I can't recommend it because quicksaving during conversation or certain activities like opening a chest will crash your game and corrupt the save.

Is it any options or plugins for an autosave? Maybe like autosave every 5/10 min etc.

It works basically the same way as it did in the original Gothic II, so, for those of you who've experience with it there, just repeat it here

AKA quick save, but also make manual saves a few times an hour, multiple saves, and don't quick save/load during scripted events or during conversation

I wont recommend using quicksave.
at least NEVER while within a scripted questline where you are linked to folloe someone
I experienced a lot of bugs using QS during the nightwatch quest.

After System, what file do you need to open in order to modify the lines? There are a lot of config files and i don't know what to open.

Also, the crashes can happen regardless, even if you don't use quick save.

You don't loose any progress with this method: just load a random save then press F9, your last quicksave is still there, you just can't acess it through the menu.
