My Bloody Buddy
Likely your first achievement, just purchase a firearm from the shop. The tutorial teaches you how to do this and it's possible this is where you'll get the achievement.

Hello, Darkness
Die in the zone.
This used to only work in 1.0 but apparently was fixed recently. Yay!

Hoistman
Climb to the top of the crane.
Around the northeast of Bolotky Village is a giant yellow crane in front of a large decayed three story building. Get yourself into the middle of the crane and you'll see handholds that you can grab to pull yourself up. It's a very VERY long way up and you'll have to switch from handholds to ladders to handholds, turning on your way. You can turn while holding onto a ladder or handhold at least, from there it's up to you to keep your grip properly, just take it slow and careful. There used to be extra guns at the top but since 2.0 it appears to be randomized items or gear, though it hasn't respawned after a tide so be wary of reclimbing this crane after a tide expecting something to be there because there probably won't be.

Classic Move
Kill an enemy with an exploding propane tank.
Best place to find propane tanks is the supply depot in Pervomay Route (the first area in the game). It's in the northeast section with the two hangar-type buildings, across from the huge green poison gas anomaly area. There's a small red propane tank near the front/west entrance and another in one of the hangars. When you shoot a tank it lets out a loud screeching sound for a couple seconds before exploding, just so you're warned if you've never done this before. If you're trying to kill a fragment (the inky shambling zombie-type monsters), you're better off shooting it until it dissipates and reveals its core, and then drop the propane tank on it and shoot it, which is how I got this achievement myself. The explosion sometimes does nothing to fragments when they're walking, so make sure to save scum this one.

Ground Control
Find every tape about the history of the Radius.
NEW INFO!
There are 4 total, and they're now all in consistently set locations. Huge thanks to Stronkeln and Kurtggg on the Into the Radius subreddit for finding the tape locations.
These tapes have an announcer-like voice, like the first tape you hear in the red box at the beginning of Pervomay Route. These are not to be mistaken for the scientist tapes that describe artifacts and anomalies. Tapes are tiny to make sure to look close and try to scour every corner of the general area if you don't see the tape immediately.
FIRST TAPE: Pervomay Route train station third story of the building on the left side.
SECOND TAPE: Bolotoky Village in the construction site, it's on the 2nd floor of the main building on one of the window sills facing the crane (out front) and can be a little hard to spot so make sure to look closely at every window on that side till you find it.
THIRD TAPE: Pobeda Factory in the room that you unlock once the bomb mission is completed in the cabinet or on a desk. You will probably need to be a little deep into the main missions to get to this one.
FOURTH TAPE: Pechorsk Castle area, NOT IN THE CASTLE ITSELF but out in front of it, before the bridge, on your left will be a brick garage building as soon as you enter the castle zone. Check the shelves inside this garage, and if you don't find it on a shelf, check the floor by the shelves, which is where I found it.

Shooting Ranger
Complete the killhouse in the shooting range game mode.
They've added a shooting range and killhouse to the current version of this game, but if you can't get this achievement to work, right click this game in Steam, go to properties, and go to beta, you can select version 1.0 which will let you access the shooting range (along with the very different original game world). Make sure to take all the guns and ammo in front of you on the table because you'll need to manually load your mags at least once through the killhouse as you go through, otherwise you'll run out of ammo while trying to complete it. However, the range itself is very short, only a couple of minutes, about 4 rooms total, and you don't have to be any good at it to get this achievement.

Shine Bright
Pick up one of every type of artifact.
Previously required 10, now requires 18.
Artifact types: Helix, Heavy Helix, Stellation, Shard, Broken Shard, Neon, Blank, Flower, Atom, Steps, Hoop, Regen, Night Eye, Unknown, Grail, various others, some are treasures and some are mission objectives. I've written another guide about artifact types in Steam guides. I was able to get this achievement without finishing the game, though I had done a mix of 1.0 and 2.0 playthroughs so I have no idea how that might've worked out, but it's possible that you don't need the Grail artifact to get this achievement (the achievement popped for me when I picked up the Triangle artifact before finishing the game).

Impeccable Shot
Kill an enemy from 200 meters away.
Best way to get this is to wait until about Security Level 4, buy the Tiger rifle and PSO scope, go into the Kolkhoz Zarya shortcut from your base, and from that starting point turn a little bit to the right and you should be able to see down the ridge into the greenhouses where you should be able to see the glow of armored enemies. Aim for that glow and fire. It worked for me and many others and is not as hard as it might seem, especially for me (I have a Cosmos, the worst VR rig ever). Other people have recommended doing this at the Castle because there's a lot of good distance and no fog, but you should be able to get this before having to go to the Castle. In fact, I save scummed this achievement, at Security Level 4 I saved the game, sold every single thing I had in my base, bought a Tiger, scope, a couple mags, and ammo, went to the shortcut, shot at the armored mimics down in the greenhouses, and the achievement popped up as soon as I killed one, and then I loaded my old save where I had all my normal guns again.

Unseen Danger
Take damage from the stomper anomaly.
The stomper is invisible and only given away by its stomping noise, puffs of dust, and giant handprints in its tracks. Just taking damage works, you don't have to die, but it's best to save first and then just load after getting this (the classic save scum way). I got it by going into the Kolkhoz Zarya shortcut from base, going to the bridge and then north, taking me to the Castle, which had a stomper anomaly stomping around, I walked into it, took damage, and got the achievement right away. It's been said that this achievement breaks every once in a while, and in that case you might have to wait for updated patches. As soon as a new patch comes out, go try it. Maybe keep a permanent save in front of a stomper.

Immortal Soul
Finish the game on ironman mode, which means no manual saving.
You must start a new game in ironman mode, and then you can't change it. There are autosaves occasionally but the only way the game saves normally is when you exit to main menu or exit the game. I have confirmed that this achievement does not require the realistic survival difficulty settings to be on. You can turn on the "story" difficult settings or have some of the easier settings on or off, such as having your map marker on, having enemy perception set to reduced, items dropped on death set to only your backpack, that sort of thing. To be safe though, once you get to the very end of the game, it might be a good idea to go into the difficulty settings and set it to "realistic" again. This achievement does not seem to work in 1.0, so you'll want to be playing the latest version.

I completed the game in Iron Man mode, but I have not gotten the achievement. I did have it on a custom difficulty setting that kept most of the Realistic settings, except I allowed Sleep to restore health and I only lost what was in my backpack. As suggested, I did change the settings back to Realistic and ran another mission, but still don't have the achievement. I assume "Completing" the game means I got through the Castle mission successfully, so not sure what else I have to do to get the achievement?

I had Shine Bright progress reset after I would play back and forth from 1.0 to current version. One thing you might be able to try is to keep one of each bronze artifact in your base, because as long as they're not for a mission they should stay forever. Keep them on a table somewhere, and then try to gather all of the artifacts in the game that you possibly can in one area and keep them forever, then if you have all that you think you can get, try to put them all in your bag at once. It's possible the progress meter in Steam's achievement screen doesn't matter though, if you just keep getting them, even if it says you have 0/18 or whatever, one day you'll get one you never got before and the achievement will just pop right up.

For me I got the impeccable shot achievement in the first zone with a Mosin I found, there's a cop mimic on a small building which can be seen easily from various angles, pick a decent spot and pop him, should be one shot.
The breath hold mechanic also makes it almost trivial to land a shot, I don't remember that being a thing when I did it (or I didn't realise) so I had my shaky ass hands to deal with

Sadly I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't count the grail, this game's always been kinda wonky with the bugs. If you're achievement hunting, and it does seem like it didn't count the grail, I'd actually recommend starting a new game with the easiest difficulty settings, maybe just turn the enemies and anomalies off entirely, which I know feels cheap but if you've already done ironman it's not like you have to prove anything to the world. :3

Ok about the tapes: finally got the achievement. I used my old ironman save from a complete playthrough but changed the difficulty to story mode. So every map was unlocked with the fast travel points...went to all 4 spawn locations and the tapes were there and it went pretty fast to get all 4. Now I will check how to get the last 2 artifacts...I am very afraid it didn't count the grail for me at the end of the game (not sure) but I will check and report back.

Sounds like they changed a ton of stuff for what counts as achievement progress. It's possible that it's not counting the progress correctly anymore for your save. I don't want to recommend starting over. Maybe if you check your journal to look for artifact types, I don't know if it only shows the ones you've attained so far, but that might help you rule out the ones you've found.

Would anybody know what artifacts I am most likely missing? I went back to playing the game and now every (new) artifact I find, I leave it on a table at the base. So far I have 10. My achievement counter (from previous playthrough) had 16/19, which became 17/19 after I played the tutorial and got the potato. So I am still missing 2 artifacts (despite having finished the game already) is there a way to know which ones or at least what are the most likely missing...I can't remember which I already found for missions (or sold).

So I decided to play the game again in story mode to concentrate on tapes (thankfully now they have fixed spawns and they actually spawn I hope) and artifacts (I was missing 2). NOTE: the potato in the tutorial of the new version counts as artifact (let's say it's the 19th artifact since you list only 18 of 19). I will probably also check in my older save if I can go back to the tape locations and pick up the tapes (it is easier compared to playing the whole game again because you have fast travel points). As for the artifacts, I miss 2 but sadly have no idea which ones are missing so will have to collect them all again.
