Rewards

All grubs will be rewarded by increasing amounts of Geo, given from the Grubfather, starting at 10g and finishing at 300g.

In addition to Geo, the following rewards:

•Mask Shard: 5 grubs
•Grubsong: 10 grubs
•Rancid Egg: 16 grubs
•Hallownest Seal: 23 grubs
•Pale Ore: 31 grubs
•King's Idol: 38 grubs
•Grubberfly's Elegy: 46 grubs

Other Errata

There are Grub Mimics in two (2) locations during the Grubfather's Lament quest:
•Crystal Peak (x1)
•Deepnest (x3)
They will transform and attack the Knight when freed from their jars. The easiest way to determine whether a grub is genuine or a Grub Mimic is to Dreamnail the jar. Grubs always say, "...Home..."; while Grub Mimics will say either: "...Kill...", "...Empty...", or "...Other..."

Inside the Tower of Love there is a hidden room after the Collector boss-fight that can be accessed by jumping into the ceiling halfway along the room containing the grubs. This room contains a piece of art known only as "The Vitruvian Grub". This is likely an easter egg referring to Leonardo da Vinci's famous drawing "The Vitruvian Man”.
