Motivation
So if you've come here then once you probably was about to get 100% completion or just complete challenges. All of them were pretty easy and never took much time of yours, but Gambler challenges are something different and now you understand it. Nobody who completed that tedious blackjack challenge expected that after it we'd need to suffer again. Neither am i...
Now, reader, I suggest you to take a deep breath, take a cup of water and calm down. You can breath out by the way. I'm not here to judge you for killing all those domino players and destroying everything in rage. This negative attitude is what we all share now. Anyway let me help you because I know how it is and don't want anybody else spend that much time on this challenge as I did. Actually I'm not even sure if i remember how long it was, feels like i've lost track of time...
Follow the guide and I hope folk can find it useful
My experience
This part of the guide is skippable and not necessary to read. Just my experience.

• R* can surprise
Well I was so happy when I finally got this...

But then I saw the next challenge and it was terrifying. "Who the hell created this?" I thought after spending a few hours on dominoes in Saint Denis. Somehow I won one game in that All Fives dominoes and got mad when lost the 2nd game...

• Genocide in St. Denis and another try
I watched some guides, found out that you can leave the table and play again so that you don't lose when something goes wrong. Also many guides said that dominoes at Emerald Station is the easiest one, but it wasn't... I burned that location and had no energy to go on.

• Back to St. Denis, city of despair
And here we go again. No hope, no luck. Being desperate I put on gambler outfit. I wished it'd help somehow, but of course it never did. Just tried to trick my mind into believing that I could handle this damn challenge. Needless to say that I was losing motivation every time when my opponent placed all tiles on the table.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing,
over and over again, expecting things to change
After all, I just gave up. "No way I can get 100% completion. It's over" I thought. Then stopped playing for a while.

• Silver lining
Walking along the streets of Blackwater, not thinking about challenges, I had no idea what to do. I saw dominoes nearby. All Threes (never even noticed that before) So without expecting anything good I decided to give it a try. Compared to other dominoes, the rate of that one was much faster even when playing against only one player. I kinda liked that. Though, after all suffering, at that moment I didn't think so.
So how it was: me listening to Johnny Cash and playing dominoes without getting mad for over forty minutes. Of course it wasn't too easy but at least I was able to win and it wasn't that boring because of the fast rate of playing. Here are screenshots of each victory and a proof why you shouldn't give up if you have goals.

After beating that, you are the true Legend of the East. Don't let one challenge stand between you and your 100% completion.

And here we smoothly move to the tips.
Tips
  • Ask yourself if you really need this (because completing the challenge can take longer than you expect) and if the answer is yes and you're motivated enough, do it.

  • Try out all three dominoes: in Blackwater, Emerald Station and Saint Denis. There are All Threes, Draw and All Fives . They are all different, and even if you're not much of a fan it's still possible to find one table where you feel more comfortable.

  • Don't hurry and think of all the ways you can place your tiles to beat your opponent. They may be stupid NPC but still not easy to defeat.

  • If you feel that your opponent has more luck than you have, try to get back to it later and get some rest.

  • You'll have more chances to win if there's only one player against you. If there are more of them, save your game and load the save. As the second method you can just sleep.

  • In order to save your streak you can leave the table and just rejoin. You won't lose victories you've got.

  • If you save the game while completing the challenge you'll lose the progress. So just follow the advice above.

  • Whatever dominoes you play don't take too much risk. For example if you and your opponent are both close to the score target but you're not 100% sure about your victory, you better leave the table.

  • NPC often place all tiles earlier than you do, and therefore you should think of how many points he'll get from your remaining tiles. Sometimes in such case the opponent can just get enough points, so really be careful and ready to leave the table.

  • Also leave the table if the game starts badly for you. Comeback is a rare thing in dominoes.

  • Don't focus on one strategy and try to make a tricky move. It often worked out well for me when I played All Threes.

  • All games are about gaining skill and learning from mistakes and this isn't an exception. Practice, practice and practice.

  • Don't give up because of a lack of luck and try to play later, even if it takes days to recover. Remember to keep your nerves safe.
Good luck there
Well I've shared everything that might be useful for you and hope it will help somebody.
Good luck with Gambler challenges, partner!
