Description
Updated For 1.4

The Load Order Mod Series is a bunch of mods I put together for my own personal use that I releasing so that, hopefully, they assist others as they have me.

The Concept is simple: Each Mod has no content, it simply acts as a placeholder and says "Put mods of this type below me", Additionally, each LOMS mod is set to request to be behind the previous two mods in the LOMS series, as well as a select few Mods that I personnally use.

FAQ:

Q: Just use RimPy!
A: You can certainly use RimPy, both without LOMS, or in conjunction: As LOMS uses the Vanilla XML commands for automatic ordering, LOMS is fully compatible with RimPy, and will act as an additional tool for RimPy Automatic Mod Ordering.

Q: Where did you get this load order? it is completely different from the one that I use, which is absolutely perfect!
A: If you have a better one, I am jealous. LOMS is based directly on Trisscar's Load Order Guide viewable HERE (https://rwom.fandom.com/wiki/Mod_Order_Guide).

Q: I am a Mod author, can you add my mod to be automatically sorted?
A: You can do so yourself quite simply. First, figure out what type of mod it is, and thus what group it should load in; then, in your mod's "about" file, add the line <loadAfter> followed by the identifier of the grouping mod surrounded by <li> tags (ex: <li>Medical.Mods.LOMS</li>), then close with </loadAfter>. Now anyone who uses your mod who also uses LOMS will get your mod automatically sorted.

Q: You screwed up the automatic sort!
A: Part of why I'm not adding to it, I probably did. But unless you are the mod author, I am not going to go by your say so and change it. Next release will probably have less Mods included in the automatic sort; these were the Mods I was using for my personal automatic sort. (And yes, they were only a portion of my mod list).

Q: The Race and Faction Pawns Section should be split; Faction Blender and other similar Mods should have their own section
A: Debating it, may occur in the next version of LOMS, depending on feedback.

Just found this, thank you very much for the mod as i'm using that guide order instead of Rimpy shitty autosort function that would always end up fucking up the load order.

My bad for my previous comment, these mods actually do a lot and work properly with rimpy.

Good idea. Not sure why this isn't vanilla.. It'd make our lives so much easier.

Not sure what CE has to do with Rimpy

@Mezz @The Dutchman I actually recommend CE instead of using this.

@Koso Very rarely, if ever, has alphabet sorting been an issue. Most mods dont need a specific place. But the gem that is Rimpy gives you the ability to set your own custom rules if you need that. It also doesnt use the outdated mod order guide this clown is suggesting. All this does is spam the workshop and misrepresent the difficulty mod sorting actually has. Literally no reason to spend more then a couple minutes sorting a mod list, and even that is wayyy too much most of the time.

@Leoli
It uses the vanilla XML tags to force themselves into cetain positions (using LoadAfter) from each other and from Popular Mods which I have set into the LOMS files (the Big Mods that are in my personal Mod List).

Also, It gives you visual seperators for manual sorting of Mods not listed.

The Guide already exists, it is Trisscar's Load Order Guide viewable HERE (https://rwom.fandom.com/wiki/Mod_Order_Guide) .

So, is this just a list, or does it actually include sorting files that Rimpy will load? Or patches that change associated mods to have their own <loadAfter> lines?

If not, why make it a mod and not just a guide?

Great mods, no need to sort my mod list for an hour. And for rimpy users, rimpy sort only essential mods and mods that it know, others not popular mods sorted by name.

Complete waste of time. Just use Rimpy. But good job spamming the workshop
