Tips for impostor [2021]

Welcome, in this guide I want to show you the tips to win as the impostor!

The Imposter role:

His tasks:

• Lie to crewmates
  
• Kill crewmates
  
• Sabotage crewmates
  
• Do fake tasks

Explanation:
The impostor is a role with ability to kill, sabotage and vent! Chances to be a impostor starts from 25% (Depends on the how many players limit did you set) This role is hard to play because you need to have an experience/skill. Most likely players playing as Impostor fails it, because of example, Standing on the body, chasing the crewmate/playing sus, but the biggest mistake of players playing as it is saying "Location" where you haven't been there all time. It's very risky, but if you're lucky enough, it can save you from getting voted.

1. Never call the emergency meeting for no-reason
   People really hate players who calls the emergency meeting for no-reason, usually they will vote you out
   
   
2. Never write a message first
   (Most of people assumes it as being impostor)
   if there's multiple "loud" crewmates, you can go undetected unless they specifically call you out. Quiet people aren't always the impostor, but withholding information is much easier for them than providing potentially incriminating information.
   With the time, they can vote you for being useless (no-talk or communicate)
   
   
3. Never kill a crewmate in front of cameras
   You can see them on the skield map at some locations, if cameras doesn't have a red light then you're free to kill. Else if cameras does have a red light, it says a crewmate is watching you (Crewmate at cameras can see 4 localizations).
   
   
4. Never give a sign of being impostor
   Using a swear in chat for players it tells you might be a impostor, this rule is made by players.
   
   
5. Always try to defend yourself with innocence
   Most of time it works from getting voted.
   
   
6. Never chase anyone for long time
   The crewmates you chase, may think you're the impostor. (It's just sus)
   
   
7. Act as crewmate
   Do your fake tasks (Only if, common tasks & visual tasks are disabled [OFF])
   Communicate and lie to crewmates
   
   
8. Watch some expert Among us players playing as Impostor
   Watching expert's play might learn you and help you playing as impostor!
   
   
9. Remember who's here
   Just because you can get that kill on someone who's alone doesn't mean you are out of the frying pan. Even if someone didn't see you directly commit the murder, some crewmates will pay close attention to who was with who last. To avoid this, it requires lots of timing and luck, but you can use doors to delay crewmates from seeing the body, or sabotaging. The more time spent before the body is found, the less likely crewmates are to remember.
   
   
10. Never kill a crewmate in front of players
    This should be obvious why.. After they see you killing a crewmate, they'll go call an emergency meeting and vote you out.
