Starting off? No Worries!
If you are first entering the world of clicker heroes, fear not. This guide aims to help you with your first steps.

Step 1: You're going to want to click, a lot. In fact, I suggest modifying your fingers with surgery in order to maximize your clicking ability. Once you've started to play this game, there's no real reason why you should stop, so cease any and all contact with friends and family. This will allow you to play clicker heroes at all times.

Step 2: Click some more. The aim of Clicker Heroes is to maximize your money, as such you're going to want to grind days upon end on the same boss. (Bosses give you the most amount of money per death.) This allows you to buy more characters and as such allows for more damage, progressing you further into the world.

Step 3: Stop playing. At this point, you're going to realize that Clicker Heroes is a very bad video game and you'll get bored of it. At this point, you're going to want to exit the game and begin to do other things with your life. After a day, a month, or even a year, you'll realize Clicker Heroes as auto-progression, meaning you'll earn money even when offline. Your goal is to level up your characters and or buy new ones with this money (preferably do both) and then shut your game off. You should only play Clicker Heroes for a maximum of 15 minutes after you first start out each day.

Ascension
After buying the character "Amenhotep" you'll realize you've unlocked a new ability, titled "ASCENSION." DO NOT USE THIS ABILITY UNTIL IT GETS TOO DIFFICULT TO BUY CHARACTERS. You want to Ascend as least you can in order to maximize the amount of DPS (damage per second) you earn when you do. I suggest Ascending first at level 150, then 300. Only Ascend when you feel the need to.
Transcension
At a certain point, (level 300 I believe) you're going to realize you need to Transcend in order to progress. Do this, and then never Transcend again. I've only Transcended once.
Final Statement
Clicker Heroes is an awful game that you shouldn't play. It killed half of my family. I hate clicker heroes. 10/10.
