Description
Stellaris version supported: v.3.4.*
Console Commands Window and write -> event ai_expand.1000

Summary:
Do you like to explore the galaxy without being stressed all the time because the AI expands like crazy and eats it all up in few years? With this mod you will be able to select the amount of solar systems that the AI can expand (each level indicating the value for the three epochs of the game, beginning, middle and end). Keep calm and enjoy the exploration, the anomalies, finding interesting systems ... Using more the diplomacy, the local and controled wars... You can also select (if you have Ancient Relics DLC) that the AI can't find archaeological sites when exploring (although by system code there is a small possibility, this eliminates completetly that small possibility). Also you can limit the Awaken Marauders (if you have Apocalypse DLC), no armies nor constructors ships when they wake up. You can change the limit when you want or disable it. You can enjoy great Galaxies with a lot of empires and set a limit for them, and even play in Admiral Level ;). You can test more configurations.


This mod include:
  • Menu Config Window (hard work and complex level)
  • You can limit the AI expanse (all empires as default)
  • You can select 10 levels to limitation of Solar Systems
  • Each level count systems for each age of the game
  • Event windows announce when enters to middle game age and end age of game
  • You can limit Enlighteened Empires (as separate countries)
  • You can forbid Marauders to expanse (no armies nor constructor ships)
  • You can forbid AI to find archaeological sites when exploring
  • If you active the mod, you can select individual solar systems to allow or forbid IA to expanse in them

Note: For marauders and archeological sites options, you need Apocalypse DLC and Ancient Relics DLC.

Future new options:
  • Limit AI Science ships (0 to 5)
  • Limit AI Constructor ships (0 to 5)
  • Limit AI Colonize ships
  • Limit AI Habitats
  • Reduce influence and unity resources


Language:
English and Spanish
The language dependency is a bit high. If someone else wants to help translate into other languages, I will update the mod and indicate the author of the translations. Any errors in the text, translation, misspelling ... please indicate it in a comment and it will be fixed for future updates.


Compatibility:
Savegames
No problem with saved games (both to install and to uninstall it).

Notes:
This mod only limit the empire to expand by using outpost starbases. The empires can expand via diplomacy or wars (integrating other empires and claims).

Using the Config Menu, you can clean up all individual systems that you have marked to forbid or allow the AI to expand ;)

Bug?! - Issues
None known. But I always make improvements.

Would love this to have an edict for activation instead so that it can work in multiplayer

i don't quite get this one honestly, the game has distinct phases for a reason. perpetual exploration without conflict over resources or planets get's old eventually. that why i very rarely play an isolated galaxy with no other empires.

Interesting idea, something I really want... but my launcher is saying 'Missing Descriptor File' and won't enable the mod...

Will try manually adding a placeholder one.
