Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory

I'm proud to present Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, created for the Channel 5 MiniPark Contest! The theme was also an excuse to include some of my original artworks in a PlanCo build :)

The great man himself has passed on, and Charlie Bucket has taken over as new owner of the factory.
He's thrown open the doors and is recruiting new employees to come work at the factory. That's YOU!

Enjoy a relaxing ride along the Chocolate River on the famed WONKATANIA!
Take a factory tour on the RIBBON CANDY LOOMPAH MOVER.
Try all the new sweets being cooked up in the INVENTING ROOM!
Experience our quality control procedures first-hand in the NUT SORTING ROOM!
Experience the MILK-SHAKER (not approved by the SPCA).

Take a relaxing panoramic ride to the skies in the Great Glass WONKAVATOR.

So come explore on open house day, and see all the wonders contained within the brick walls. Be warned though, stay on the path, and follow safety protocols, we don't want you to end up like those children did back in the day...

Transport Rides

WONKATANIA! A boatride through the underbelly of the factory.
RIBBON CANDY LOOMPAH MOVER. Once used for transporting Oompah Loompahs, now serves as a tour of the factory.

Coaster

NUT SORTING MACHINE Are you a good nut or a bad nut? Traditionally we've used squirrels to sort our nuts, but we are testing out the brand new SORTBOT: Get tested and see for yourself. Don't worry if you're a bad nut, the furnace is only lit every other day, so you've got a good sporting chance.

Dark Ride

WONKAVISION We have harnessed the power of television to miniaturize and beam chocolate all over the world! No... don't stand there... watch out!

Flat Rides
EVERLASTING GOBSTOPPER Stop your gob, spin out of control in the Inventing Room.
THE MILKSHAKER We here at Wonka shake our milk right at the source.
WONKAVATOR Climb through the floors and high above the Factory in the Great Glass Elevator.

It's easy to get lost in the factory. Here's my recommended route that echoes the events of Roald Dahl's novel, and also allows you to see all the goodies.

ENTER the park and read the letter on the ceiling.
Hop on the PEOPLE MOVER (Loompah Mover).
Get off at the FIRST STOP and explore the chocolate room.
Hop on the BOAT RIDE and ride for one stop.
Get off and explore the INVENTING ROOM.
Continue through the small room with the FIZZY LIFTING DRINKS bottle, pause to look up.
Continue to the nut sorting room and ride the coaster.
The cue entrance is on the left when you first enter the nut sorting room.
Exit into the courtyard and explore the milkshaker.
After the Milkshaker follow the signs for Wonkavision and explore the studio and ride the Dark Ride.
Get on the boat at the TV studio, and ride one stop through the Rock Candy Mine back to the chocolate room.
Hop back on the Loompah mover and ride one stop to the Wonkavator.
Ride the Wonkavator. The POV views kinda suck from inside the cabin but this would be a good opportunity to look at the park from above for a little "easter egg" in the building shapes.
After the Wonkavator hop back on the loompah mover for a final tour of the factory. It basically goes through the rooms you already saw so it's a good opportunity for final thoughts if you like. There's also an extra room that is only viewable from the people mover.
