Deflation guide to help you win 100% of the time. (probably outdated lol)

Wanted to do anything whilst making free money? Well here's a guide for a 100% chance of beating deflation on any map. This guide will help with making easy money and help you get those Heroes, Skins etc you're missing.

Part TLDR

This is NOT the only way to do inflation, but I find this to be an effective strategy on all maps, if you have your own way to do it, feel free to post them in the comments for others.

Step 0: Before you do

Before you can achieve free money and medal. You need to upgrade these paths for the sniper monkey and monkey alchemist.
You need 0-2-4 and 2-3-0 for the sniper monkey.
and 4-2-0 for the alchemist.

Step 1: The strategy

You need the monkeys and upgrade paths stated in step 0 to execute the strategy.

It won't matter what Hero you use in any difficulty map except Expert, in which placement of that Hero is key.

When you load into Deflation mode, set up both sniper monkeys and the alchemist so that the alchemist's stronger stimulant only affects the two snipers.
As an example, here is the setup for the first Beginner map: Monkey Meadow.


The placement doesn't matter as long as the two snipers are buffed by the alchemist.

Step 2: Expert maps(and why they suck)

Expert maps suck because besides being complicated as all hell, they usually have a lot of obstacles obscuring the sniper's vision or they're so short that when MOABs pop, they get through lickety split.


This is why having the right Hero matters on some maps, usually Captain Churchill(although being bad normally) is good because of his splash damage, his armor piercing shells being able to destroy black bloons among others, and having an ability which flood the screen with MOAB destroying shells.

Questions you might have

Q: Do I need Monkey Knowledge for this to work?
A: You don't, but it does help. A free Dart Monkey or Road Spikes or more Hero EXP etc at the end is a nice reassurance.

Q: I failed on some maps, why is that?
A: Like I said earlier, placement is important and you need to make sure the snipers can see as much of the path as possible. You might have misplaced your Hero also, so just make sure they are in a central area of the map to help with crowd control or if any bloons nearly leak.

Q: Is it true that I can leave the Deflation game while I go do something else, like make a sandwich?
A: If you have the right placement, you should be able to leave it in the background.

Q: Why is the monkey alchemist so important?
A: For those of you unaware, he applies buffs to nearby monkeys with his Acid Mixture Dip and Berserker Brew, which the effectiveness is increased by Stronger Stimulant and Perishing Potions. Without him, the snipers wouldn't be able to have enough speed or damage to deal with ceramics/leads and MOABs effectively.

Q: Is this the only way that Deflation can be done?
A: You don't need to follow this guide to win at Deflation, its just that this is the most effective strategy. You're your own man/woman and can achieve this challenge however you want.

Q: Why snipers? Why not something like Ninja or Super Monkey?
A: Many of the other monkeys don't have enough range or can't deal with Leads/Ceramics or MOABs effectively enough. They also aren't as cost effective as this strategy, which leaves you with at least $1500 gold to spend on your own volition, which could be spent on clearing obstacles on the map.

I'd recommend following that deflation guide if its for the current version, as I've said mine is outdated and monkeys featured might've been changed.

As for Ben, I wouldn't suggest using him, as his main purpose of making passive income is nullified in Deflation, and his 1st ability isn't all that useful for the strategy and can also make you lose in some cases. However, this is coming from someone who hasn't seriously played the game since late 2023, so maybe Ben is more viable than before, but I don't think that's the case.

Like I said, you don't necessarily need Churchill, but he's recommended. This guide is outdated though so I'm not sure.

Super simple, works in 2023 so far on every map that doesn't block sniper LoS. Easiest way to gain monkey knowledge xp on Infernal. 2 snipes alchemist and watch a youtube video.

You can put two bomb shooter on 0-2-4 and village 2-3-0 some ninja i prefer 3-0-1 and you can add glue gunner 2-0-2 and you win

I almost always go etienne, moab glue, blowback heli along with a maim moab. This strategy is yet to fail me. Be sure to use ettienne's UCAV ability near the end of round 59.
