Introductions:
Hello guys!

It's finally finished! All the Hot Wheels Unleashed cars, all upgraded to Legendary, as well their Super Treasure Hunt Variants rated on 5 different Tiers of overall performance. So, before going any further, this is MY personal opinion on my overall experience with every car, so just because your favorite cars is not as high as you think they should be does not mean that you're wrong about it, with the only things that everyone of the community agrees on is that the Superman Character Car is the best vehicle of the game so everything's else is debatable lol!

EVERY CARS MATTERS

Also, just like many games, especially Arcade Racing Games, their are always going to be something that is better or just META than the rest, so don't judge the game balance too much. Honestly, my true recommendation for anyone starting is to just look at the car list and pick your favorite vehicle, regardless of the tier they are in and just learn the driving mechanics and track memorization. Get better at the game them you'll probable be able to beat most of the challenge it will throw at you while driving the vehicle that you love. As for Online play, same thing, skill matters a LOT more here too, so don't give up on your favorite vehicle yet!

COMPETITIVE CROWND AND NEW PLAYERS

But yeah, for the competitive players that just want to get right in on the action, the Tier List will definitely help you decide on what to drive and as for the new players getting in, the list WILL hopefully help you guys decide on what is worth upgrading first so you don't waste your gears or coins on something that might not be good to start with!

HOW DID YOU RATED THEM?

So, to properly rate every car performance I used two to five different tracks depending of the vehicle! However the two most important courses were what I called the Technical track (Top Floor Crossings), which is more focused on corners and the Speed track (Neon's Ride), more focused on straights line speed.

Although their overall times were really important for my rating, I also wanted to consider accessibility (how easy and reliable are they to drive),boost power (Charge boost are much stronger than Bar Boost) and Aerial Capabilities (how easy are for them to do aerial shortcuts) to give a better placement on the list, this means that some cars might be lower than they would be if I just rated then by performance!

If you're just interested on just pure stats performance with no second opinion you can check out this other Guide on Steam by RoRo! He made an excellent and hard working job getting plenty of information about every car on the game the best way he could and is a much better reference than the actual in game stats! So go definitely check it out!

You can also check out this Spreadsheet from my friend 'EliastheSarcastic', he also made an excellent job working with every vehicle of the game the best he could so I totally recommend it too!

Tier C:
Tier C vehicles are around 7 secs. slower per lap than most Tier SSS vehicles. This is the home of most Service/City Vehicles, usually with really good boost power to compensate for their awful base stat line, which as you expect, does not make up for it. Most of those vehicles also have some serious balance issues, becoming extremely unreliable on contact with ramps and other objects, making them not just slow, but hard vehicles to drive with. I would recommend avoid them all until you have enough game experienced.

Some personal Highlights are:
Total Disposal(FREE/Base game): I always liked the little garbage truck, however, even at Legendary, with his Lvl 6 Boost Bar, the poor boy can't really keep up with most vehicles. At least he has a home as a Aerial Shortcut vehicle thanks to his massive boost bar, but there're better choices do to that too!

Hi-Po Hauler(FREE/Base Game): This RLC Exclusive car is one of the most fun vehicles to drive and drift around! This is when she's not rolling around the track! Thanks to her slim front tires she tends to lose balance on corners, rolling over way to often!

Tier B:
Tier B vehicles are around 4 to 5 secs. slower than the Tier SSS vehicles. Unfortunately, B Tier vehicles still underperform on most places and still are gonna put you on a disadvantage over most Tier S and up cars. The Tier B is compose of most Off Roaders vehicles with their low Acceleration and big understeering, 2 Shark Cars, Slammed vehicles(lowriders and such that suffer from heavy balanced issues), the Deora Family and a few surprises.

Some personal Highlights are:
Barbie Dream Camper(Paid DLC):The Dream Camper is actually pretty good and if I rated her just by performance alone she would be around Tier A, but unfortunately, she is one of the most unreliable vehicles of the game! Her weird physics combined with her tall height is a recipe for a bunch of problems when on contact with opponents, walls and especially those small ramps! She does have a cult following across all HW Unleashed Platforms, so be careful of what you talk about her!

Sharkcruiser(FREE/Base Game):One of my favorite vehicles and a classic Hot Wheels original, Sharkcruiser mostly suffers from really low Top Speed combined with a small Boost Bar, making her god awful on some Speed Tracks! It was show on my test that even her Rare Variants, with 3 Charge Boost, can be faster than her Legendary Variant on some courses, which is unacceptable.

https://youtu.be/-matZRMTjbo
Tier A:
Tier A vehicles are around 3 to 4 sec. slower than Tier SSS vehicles. It's here on Tier A that you start to get some more competitive vehicles of Unleashed. It also here that you'll find most of the One Charge Boost vehicles, the ones that I like to call 'One Boost Wonders', most of them have really decent stats that are overshadow by only having 1 Charge Boost, making them underwhelming on most tracks. Another important thing to know is that there's a big gab between High Tier A and Low Tier A. High Tier A Vehicles are more in line to Tier S performance wise while Low Tier A are much closer to Tier B stat line.

Some personal Highlights are:
RD-02(FREE/Base Game): The old Top Speed King, RD-02 used to have a bugged Top Speed while not boosting which made him a real menace back when the game released. Nowadays, he still is quite good on Speed Tracks but he lacks the boost power with only 1 Charge Boost.

Twin Mill Super Treasure Hunt(FREE/Base Game): My personal favorite STH, the Twin Mill is just a safe pick for anyone wanting a reliable vehicle that is not classified as Legendary. She's a bit slow on corners but she brings a pretty high Top Speed to compensate for that.

Ford Hot Heap(FREE/Base Game): One of the originals from the Sweet 16 of '68, this classic Hot Rod is a solid Secret Rarity vehicle if you have no coins. Another very enjoyable car to drift around that is only really hurt by having only 1 Charge Boost.

Fiat 500 Super Treasure Hunt (FREE/Base Game): I'm not a Fiat 500 fan but I can't deny that this little fella is pretty amazing, Tier S on the right track! Pack with a huge Lvl 5 Boost Bar and a small body, her only problem is that she tends to bounce of walls a bit too easily...

https://youtu.be/-matZRMTjbo

Tier S:
This Tier and the above is where every NEW and Competitive players should start looking for their main vehicle! Most car right here are around 1 to 2 sec. slower than Tier SSS vehicles. All Tier S vehicles have their strength and weakness, some of them have really high Top Speed, other have amazing levels of boost power, a few are grippy like GT3 cars, some are just to difficult to drive for what they provide (looking at you Snoopy, Boom Car and Bazoomka), but all of them have competitive power and can go even beyond to Tier SSS if mastered.

Some personal Highlights are:
GT-Scorcher(Pre-Order Bonus DLC): If you have race with me online, chances are, you probably saw me using this car, and for good reason, she's my faithful companion since the release of Unleashed, both offline and online. GT-Scorcher brings a top tier stat line that is only hold by her Lvl 2 Boost Bar, still, if you want a easy, fast and reliable vehicle to upgrade to Legendary, it's her.

Solid Muscle(FREE/Base game): My second most used vehicle and one of the most underrated cars of the game, Solid Muscle brings pretty much Tier SSS performance if you can get used to her wider, longer drifts! Give her a try!

'55 Chevy(FREE/Base Game):My first time driving this Chevy was while doing the original Tier List and man... I loved it! Solid performance with 3 charge boost, you can't go wrong! Pretty much an example of Tier S vehicle!

Exotique(FREE/Base Game): One of my old companions together with GT-Scorcher and Solid Muscle, and fairly popular among the community, Exotique looks fast and feels fast, but not THAT fast. She excels at Top Speed course and might struggle a little bit on the more technical ones.

Rigor Motor(FREE DLC): Blast from the Past! The only 'Turbo Racing' representative on Unleashed definitely made it noticed! Rigor Motor is all about Top Speed and it's pretty good at it. Just avoid aerial shortcuts with this one!

Power Rage(Paid DLC): I could care less if this car was on Acceleracers or not, Power Rage represent the early '2000 Tuner Scene on Hot Wheels, made possible only by the incredibly Designer Eric Tscherne, responsible for bring two of my favorite Hot Wheels originals to life(MS-T Suzuka and Sho-Stopper). And yeah, the lvl 2 Boost Bar does not help her at all but she makes up with that superb drift capabilities.

Shazam Character Car(Super Heroes Racing Season): One of the newest kids of the block and definitely my favorite car of the Super Heroes Racing Season, Shazam is just an example of the Mid S Tier potencial. Easy to handle, really good top speed and a Lvl 4 Boost bar!

Monster Truck in general(Monster Truck Expansion): Although not as bad as some players think they are, the Monster Trucks have some serious problems relating to their weird interaction with the environment and other vehicles, how the react when changing surface or terrain and how uninspired and similar they are to basic vehicles. Also, I'm rating them all together, as performance wise, they are very much alike. With times close to most vehicles on Tier S if raced perfectly, they are the 'high skill but not much high reward' cars of Unleashed...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VwOot6xhbY0&t=0s

Tier SSS:
And finally, here we are, the TOP DOGS, the Tier SSS, Tier S+, Meta Tier, whatever you wanna call it, this guys are the best of the best, any of this vehicle are an excellent choices if you're looking to be competitive on Unleashed. Most Tier SSS vehicles bring an amazing stat line combined with solid boost power, or sometimes, they totally break the rule of good stats = bad boost completely, creating vehicles that just feel unfair to race against! So, yeah, you can't go wrong with any of this...

Some personal Highlights are:
'Surf N 'Turf(FREE/Base Game): One of the best car of the game, the 'Turf is the definition of High Risk High Reward. The hardest vehicle of Tier SSS, but the one with the most potential to annihilate the competition, stupidly high acceleration and with an extremely powerful boost that can send you flying off the tracks if not used in the right time. I love it!

Bye Focal II(FREE DLC):The very first FREE car, Bye Focal II surprised everyone by showing amazing performance and near perfect stats! One of the few Boost Bar vehicles on Tier SSS and there're very few things as grippy as this big ass muscle car!

Mattel Dream Mobile(FREE DLC): Recently added to the game, the Dream Mobile was an excellent addition to the game, not only by what she represent to the Mattel/Hot Wheels brands as a whole but just by how she drives. Just in one word: Smooth. Just stay away from High Speed Tracks.

Robin 2.0T(Batman Expansion DLC): My favorite car from the Batman Expansion, I was surprise of how agile this little beast is on corners, beating most of the Tier SSS vehicles on the high Technical Tracks. Damian Wayne might suck but not this car!

The Cheetah Character Car(Super Villains Racing Season): I'm a huge Cheetah fan, so you could say that I'm being a little biased here... and you couldn't be more wrong! The Cheetah defines 'Character Cars' with solid all around stats combined with not 2, not 3, 4 Charge Boost! Other good options with similar performance are her siblings: Harley Quinn and Black Manta Character Cars.

Night Burner(FREE DLC): When you think you can do better than Bye Focal II, Night Burner just comes along and redefines Boost Bar vehicles. Night Burner is pretty much Bye Focal II, just better, Lvl 5 Boost Bar and more acceleration! The second best boost bar vehicle of the game!

Synkro(FREE DLC): There is only one car for me when I really want to be competitive/tryhard and it's the Synkro. When you get the hang of her you won't want to drive anything else, amazing drift capability, possible the best of the game, with the best combination of handling and acceleration stats. It's the leader car for a reason.

Bump Around Super Treasure Hunt(FREE/Base Game): I don't use this car much, but bare with me. The Best Boost Bar vehicle (lvl 6 Boost bar too), Best Aerial Shortcut abuser, Best Super Treasure Hunt. Yeah, might look dumb but this little kart grippy like nothing on the game, be careful when you see one behind you!

https://youtu.be/F5oDKlfp1Eg

Final thoughts:
And that's pretty much it! If your a competitive player or new to the game I would recommend to stay away from vehicles on Tier C and B and focus on vehicle of Tier S and above as they don't have a huge gap in performance compare to the best vehicles of the game.

Thank you for reading or watching the videos and hopefully this Tier List was of any help for you to decided on what to drive or to help you discover a new favorite vehicle to play!

Hello once again! A new update has come for Hot Wheels Unleashed, so I tested out Vega on Open Day. my fastest time was 2:13.658, so I believe this update finally nerfed him.
DDragonshark  [author] Jun 9, 2022 @ 3:41pm
And like Bump said Neko, I've already tested the Senna, one of the best vehicles of the game right now, if you like the car is a easy upgrade to legendary. But the stats are fake, he's not that op like the stats make him to be.
DDragonshark  [author] Jun 9, 2022 @ 3:38pm
About the Mangas, well, If you don't have Track Manga, Mad Manga brings the same handling but with a boost bar, which makes this one severly worst than the convertible variant. So yeah, Mad Manga feels like a Free Trial to the actually good car that is the paid Track Manga. Will update Mad Manga on Mid Tier S with other lvl 2 boost bar vehicles such as Ryu and Power Rage.
DDragonshark  [author] Jun 9, 2022 @ 3:36pm
Heyo! Thanks for the heads up! Wasn't expecting the first batch soo early! My first opinion are that I really liked Donatello, He-Man is decent but that boost bar hurts him a lot and well... I hated the Myster Machine unfortunatelly, might be a new Tier C vehicle on a long time!
Beau the Umbreon Jun 9, 2022 @ 4:12am
Hiya! Batch 1 of the Volume 3 cars came out! They're all pretty good!

Donatello seems like he's better than Leonardo. The Mystery Machine's handling isn't as bad as the stats imply, and He-man is a pretty solid vehicle. Just my initial thoughts.

Also nice on the amount of comments this guide has.
Anti-Complacency (Turbo.RF4) Jun 5, 2022 @ 11:42pm
Mad manga honestly feels like a more responsive power rage, i suggest testing who is faster, power rage or mad manga to decide who's better overall.
RaceFrensy12 Jun 5, 2022 @ 1:14pm
I was taking a small hiatus from Hot wheels to try out a Different game. I tried the Mad Manga, it seemed fast and responsive but I have mixed feelings about the boost bar, and I can't tell how good the acceleration is but at best it might be at the lower end of tier s
