How to Not be a Dumbass Guard/Warden on Jailbreak

If you've played Jailbreak before, you've probably been on prisoners team (RED). Maybe this guide will make you change on the guards team (BLU)! With my experience on Jailbreak, this guide will help you become a great warden/guard.

DISCLAIMER

I'm not forcing you to be a good warden/guard, it's a helpful guide for other people who do want to know how to be the BLU team correctly.

This guide is based on my experience on Idleserver's jailbreak servers. I barely go on any others since this server can be really funny at times.

What is Jailbreak?

If you are lazy, here's a brief explanation:

Jailbreak has 2 teams, RED and BLU, obviously. BLU team are the guards. One person on BLU becomes the warden and gives orders to the prisoners (RED). The prisoners can obey the warden's rules or just flat out try to kill them. While playing, you get to play these "mini-games" that probably people will die in such as Wipeout, Deathrun, Nine Square, etc.

Being Warden

Warden is the boss of the guards and prisoners. They give orders to both guards and prisoners. Prisoners can kill the warden, which is fun, but time-consuming.

How to be warden:
- Usually all servers have the command "!w" to become warden.
- Have a microphone. Jailbreak servers require a microphone to be warden. But, there are people who just don't have mics but go warden anyway. Prisoners go with it or do !fire to fire the warden.
- Know what you are doing. I suggest go on the prisoner's side when first playing to see how the warden system works. When being the warden, you are probably gonna say these phrases alot;

- No detours or delays
- Type in chat what you would like to do today
- When I open cell doors, crouchwalk to the yellow/red/other colors line
- First reaction, Last reaction
- Crouchwalk to... (deathrun, obby, etc.)
- You get LR (last request) - command is " !givelr " on most servers
- You can kill baiters

These phrases can be helpful when playing the warden. There are a lot more, you'll see when you play for a long time.

EXTRA - Minigames

Let's say you are a warden and tell your prisoners to go to the yellow line and say in, "type in chat what you would like to do today." and someone says a game you don't know where the in hell it is. Well, it really depends on the maps and saying this again, go on the prisoner's side or spectate around the map to know where you are going.

Here are some games that are usually in all maps (the map that i used was ;

-Obstacle Course, also known as Obby: Pretty self-explanatory. Just finish the obstacle course.





-Deathrun: Deathrun is similar to obby just that the guards/warden activate the traps.





-Fall Game: Fall Game works like this, prisoners stand on the blocks, blocks disappear, prisoners try to survive. That's my best explanation and it's fun.





-Crush Game: Crush Game works like this, prisoners look at the walls for the block they go to to survive, if they are on the wrong block, they die.





-Nine Square: Nine Square is like Crush Game but you can go on any block, if your block is chosen and falls down, you are dead. (Blocks are chosen randomly.)





-Wipeout: You probably know what Wipeout is from that TV show game show thing but, if you don't know, prisoners stand on pillars while jumping for their life from a spinning pillar trying to get you off your pillars. (sounds kinda confusing while I explain it but you'll get it while you play.)




-Pool: It's a Pool. There is a game called "Shark" while the guards go into the pool and try to kill the prisoners while the prisoners try to kill the guards.





Jeopardy: You know what Jeopardy is, right? It's a gameshow where you buzz in and answer the question and stuff. Well, in Jailbreak, it's kinda like that. The warden asks questions like "what item am I holding" or "what hat is this guard wearing" or like math questions, anything he/she wants. Using Jeopardy is usually when 3 people are remaining. Keep that in mind.





Soccer: Come on, everyone knows what Soccer is. But the thing is, you can DIE if hit by the soccer ball.



This is an extra room, a fun room, Disco.: It's Disco. You dance, you can change the music. That's it.

Being Guards

Being a guard is really damn easy or hard. Here are some tips:

- DO NOT BAIT. - Baiting means revving up your minigun, scoped and aiming at a prisoner while being Sniper, blocking the prisoner's way to a destination, blocking the cells when prisoners are inside, and others. Even though it is fun to do, prisoners are allow to kill you.
- DO NOT FREEKILL. - Freekill means killing a prisoner for no reason. In some servers, if you freekill too much, you can get guard banned for a long amount of time.
- Listen and protect to your warden. - Don't you wish you could just kill your 10-year-old complaining boss? Unless friendlyfire is on, you can't. If a prisoner hits you, your fellow guards or warden, they are rebels so you can kill them unless you baited. Prisoners not following the warden's orders, auto-rebel unless the warden gives them a warning. If you don't like your warden or he's being a complete idiot, you can type "!fire" too.

-Last Guard Rule - If you are the last guard standing, that means you can kill the prisoners, it isn't freekill. But, good luck with that. (This option is not on all servers, thanks to [FoG] Tomaspremoli)
-Make sure to have a mic. - It isn't required on some servers, but it's annoying to wait for another guard to become warden after the previous one was murdered, or no one is going warden. If you have a mic, than that's good since you can take over to be warden.

That's basically it for the guards. In conclusion, don't be a dumbass.

Conclusion

You've completed this guide to not being dumb on the guard team! Now go on, play some Jailbreak and try to be on the guards side, it's fun. Or you can just keep playing on the prisoners side and rebel. Which is cool too.
