タント（初代、4代目：Tanto、2代目：TANTO、3代目：TanTo）は、ダイハツ工業が生産・販売している軽トールワゴン（軽スーパーハイトワゴン）。
生産はダイハツ滋賀工場（第2地区）で行われている。

「タント」の車名が示す通り、同社で発売されている「ムーヴ」よりもキャビンの拡大を図っており、結果として全高1,700mmを超え「軽スーパーハイトワゴン」というジャンルを確立させた。

このLS660S系では、3代目で採用された「スマアシ」が「次世代スマートアシスト」に強化され、
車線逸脱抑制制御機能、標識認識機能（進入禁止）及び軽自動車で初となるADB（アダプティブドライビングビーム・タントカスタムのみ）が追加されるとともに、
誤発進抑制機能にはブレーキ制御が追加された。また、全車速追従機能付ACC（アダプティブクルーズコントロール）、LKC（レーンキープコントロール）、
サイドビューランプ及び駐車支援システム「スマートパノラマパーキングアシスト」（パノラマビュー（別名アラウンドビューモニター）付き車種では軽自動車初）で構成された運転支援機能「スマートアシストプラス」も採用された。

軽量化が図られた新プラットフォーム「DNGA-Aプラットフォーム」となり、
ターボ車用のCVTにはスプリットギアを組み込み、ベルト+ギア駆動を可能にした「D-CVT」を採用。
エンジンはこれまで通りKF型が踏襲されるが、エンジンの基本性能をより一層磨き上げる理由でNAエンジン・ターボエンジン共に燃焼室の形状をペントルーフ型から自動車用4バルブガソリンエンジンとしては世界初となる半球型への変更、
複数回点火（マルチスパーク）の採用や燃料噴霧方式をスワール噴霧へ変更するなどの改良により燃焼効率が向上した。

Tanto (1st and 4th generation: Tanto, 2nd generation: TANTO, 3rd generation: TanTo) is a light tall wagon (light super height wagon) produced and sold by Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd.

In this LS660S series, the "Sumaashi" adopted in the 3rd generation has been strengthened to "Next Generation Smart Assist".
Along with the addition of a lane departure suppression control function, a sign recognition function (no entry), and ADB (adaptive driving beam tanto custom only), which is the first for a mini vehicle,
Brake control has been added to the false start suppression function. In addition, ACC (adaptive cruise control) with all vehicle speed tracking function, LKC (lane keep control),
A driving support function "Smart Assist Plus" consisting of a side view lamp and a parking support system "Smart Panorama Parking Assist" (the first mini vehicle with a panoramic view (also known as an around view monitor)) has also been adopted.

New platform "DNGA-A platform" with reduced weight
The CVT for turbo cars incorporates a split gear and adopts the "D-CVT" that enables belt + gear drive.
The engine will continue to be the KF type as before, but the shape of the combustion chamber for both the NA engine and turbo engine will be changed from the pent-roof type to the world's first 4-valve gasoline engine for automobiles for the purpose of further refining the basic performance of the engine. Change to hemispherical type,
Combustion efficiency has been improved by adopting multiple ignition (multi-spark) and changing the fuel spray method to swirl spray.
