Introduction
Hitman Absolution. By fans, considered a flop. By critics, pretty decent. But when watching other people play, you'll notice that not everyone is the same Hitman, even though you're all essentially Agent 47. This guide will help you evaluate what type of Hitman you are, from the Stealth Pro to the Noob Rampager, we cover everything in between. Why waste time? Lets begin.
The 100% Noob
"How do I play this game?"
This guy's knowledge of video games is poor, and will only know how to WASD. Will slowly learn about the game and commands throughout the tutorial, but for now he's a lost cause.
Attributes:
-Is threatened by NPCs and relies only on himself
-Doesn't know how to steady-aim Silverballers
-Might not even know how to use Silverballers

-When attacking, only uses close-combat system or Silverballers
-Ignores environment, handles 1 problem at a time
The Noob
"Hey, I'm getting the hang of this...I think..."
The Step-Up from the complete Noob, this guy knows how to "play" the game.
By "play", his only goal is to make it to the end and kill all who are necessary as fast as possible.
In theory, this would work, but that isn't the Hitman way is it?

Attributes:
-Can use all weapons, but prefers Silverballers
-Prefers to use items as weapons rather than distractions
-Refuses to wait for NPCs to go away, just kills them if they're a problem.
-Likes to have at least 5000 as a score
-Relies on level-end bonus points for score
-Gets stuck time to time. Uses cheap walkthrough.
The Split
At this point from the Noob onwards, people normally go two different directions when it comes to Absolution. Hence, the split. The first path we will be exploring is the "Rampaging" path. If you wish to view down the "Stealth Path", go to the table of contents and select "The Try-Hard Non-ja"
Shiny Shiny Shiny!
"Oooooo! Shiny Guns! I like!
Uh-oh.
If you're going face to face with a diehard Hitman fan, you will be SHUNNED for choosing this path. You know you're traveling across it when you prefer killing over stealth, or quickness more than accuracy. This is only the first step in the Rampaging Hitman, who you could just call "Messy Dexter Morgan"
Atributes:

-ONLY uses guns. Preferably Silverballers.
-Never uses the silencers. They come off instantly.
-Absolutely loves to point-shoot
-Kills every NPC
The "-" symbol means "pro" right?
Theres no going back now.
This is the guy who thinks proudly of his score.
It will probably be in the 100,000's.
The negative 100,000's
So yeah.

Attributes:
-Has a machine-gun fetish
-Expert of the "run-and-gun" tactic. But prefers the "gun" part.

-Learns the level by running around and avoiding the S.W.A.T team
-Pretends they're in a movie
-Uses quick-shooting WAY too often
The Arnold Schwarzenegger
"Get to the chopper!"
Or in this case, the level exit.
You're 100% badass now. (In your own way)
You play the game for 1 purpose:
To pretend you ARE Arnold Schwarzenegger.
To be ONE with the Terminator inside you.
Hell, even I sometimes do this because I'm so bored.

Attributes:
-Plays the game like it's an action movie
-♥♥♥♥ cover. ATTACK!
-KILL ALL THE THINGS!
-But look badass while doing so
-Will end up dying A LOT
-But will look badass while doing so
The Try-Hard-Non-Ja
"Hey look at me! I'm a ninja!"
No you're not.
Well at least not yet.
This is the "proper" path to play in Hitman Absolution, or so they say.
By now the Noob has realized that stealth is the way to progess in this game.
So he tries to be super stealthy, and ends up failing a lot.
But he's on the right path at least.

Attributes:
-If possible, will try to avoid killing NPCs
-Is in love with the Silenced Silverballers, but tries to use the Fiber Wire more.
-Hides every body, sometimes getting caught in the process
-Still uses objects as weapons, but understands that he could use them as distractions
The Ninja
"....."
The key to stealth is silence.
And the Ninja has it down.
He just doesn't know how to complete the objective.

Attributes:
-Takes a lot of time learning the levels
-Finds multiple paths to reach the target
-Knows who and who not to kill
-But struggles on how the target should be killed, as he worries he'll get caught
The Able
"His Hitman, Able"
Congratulations. You've beaten the game.
No seriously.
The Able is someone who is Able to beat the game all while stealthing it on most parts.
But you're not quite a master yet.
No no no, not yet.
Just because I'm able to make a sandwich doesn't mean I'm a master chef

Attributes:
-Not a normal gamer. Specializes in stealth
-May or may not have ended up buying all the other Hitman games after beating Absolution
-Can replay all the levels and do something different each time
-But still hasn't 100% the game
-If Hitman had a multiplayer, you'd be a decent player
The Master
"You done did good kid"
Okay, if you're THIS guy, you probably also have 300+ hours of Hitman experience either in Absolution itself or cumulative from other Hitman games.
A master of stealth gets the highest rating a level can offer, always.
And even when you do you think it's "easy".

Attributes:
-Nobody EVER sees you. YOU DON'T EXIST.
-Can speedrun practically every level.
-What are guns?
-Oh Fiber Wire, will you marry me?
-Hey, an axe! Lets use it as a distraction.
-I actually feel bad for the poor target NPC.
The rare species
Now believe it or not there are some quite peculiar types of players in Hitman Absolution. From watching 100+ videos of the game, believe me, they're out here.
Here are some of the "Unique Variants" of players:
Hannah Montana?
"Because it's the beeeeesssttt of both worlds!"
This legitimately surprised me.
Turns out there are players capable of both Master AND Arnold Schwarzenegger.
These guys know how to expertly stealth, but can't help it at little parts and just have to go absolute crazy with a machine gun.

Attributes:
-Capable of both Arnold and Master attributes
-Most likely doesn't enjoy any of the other Hitman games due to their emphasis on sandbox levels instead of action set pieces
The Master (of faster)
"♥♥♥♥! THAT BASTARD DELAYED MY MOVE TIME! GOTTA ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RESET THE LEVEL DAMN!"
What is skill.
I don't know.
These guys don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about the story OR the gameplay.
All they care about is speedrunning the game, or just beating levels as fast as possible.
Easily one of the most..."interesting" players...

Attributes:
-Gets hit once = RESET
-Accidentaly gets lost or bumps into a wall? = RESET
-GOTTA GO FAST!
-FREAKING HELICOPTER YOUR KNOCKBACK SHOTS ARE DELAYING ME!

I specifically target all authority figures and gang members alike. Anyone with any kind of hostility I kill while everyone else that's a bystander I consider completely "innocent" I spare. I wonder what playstyle that would be considered. Basically I kill all police, all gang members, anyone that would be considered a threat in any way I eliminate and put fear into them causing them to panic for fear they'll be next at any moment unless they run away lol. But the rule is they have no idea who's killing them. I'm allowed to switch outfits but I cannot kill anyone unarmed or not a threat. While also not being identified. So they know they're being picked off but not by who which causes some insane paranoia lmao

i wouldnt consider myself "the master" but normally i do suit only silent assassin runs on normal difficulty

I am the guy who only gets the rating Silent Assassin by accident and I go in with my silver ballers guns blazing accidentally hitting my target. Then I hide and escape so I'm master in that way but I'm also Arnold Schwarzenegger but I'm mostly Shiny Shiny Shiny!

tbh im that guy that kills as many npcs as possible and tries to be stealthy but ussualy fails at doing so and go crazy and kill everyone (or sometimes i just dont even try and go and kill everyone)
