No achievements are tied to the difficulty you choose. Feel free to choose the difficulty you prefer. You can also change and customize it mid playthrough and still gain all the achievements.

While you gain the ability to replay Chapters once you have completed the story, you will not be able to complete any collectibles achievements using it. You'll need to play on NG+, if you missed out on them. You can however collect the outfits you missed.

Combat

Most of these achievements are missable, you'll need to pay close attention to them if you want to 100% this game in a single playthrough. However, you should be able to get a lot of them just from playing naturally.

Pick Me Up
Requirement: Revive a fallen team member.
Missable: Yes

Simply sit back, relax and let one of your teammates die. They die pretty quickly if you don't help them fight.

Stagger Swagger
Requirement: Stagger 25 enemies.
Missable: Yes

Using the Ice Element on Peter's gun and freezing the enemy counts as staggering. Simply use it and you should get this achievement in no time.

Set ’em Up, Knock ’em Down
Requirement: Defeat 15 Staggered enemies with a Charged Shot.
Missable: Yes

Using the same method as above. Use the Ice Element to freeze the enemies and finish them of with a charge shot.

Unstoppable Force
Requirement: Attain the maximum possible Momentum 10 times.
Missable: Yes

Just make sure to use your team members' ability as much as possible to get the highest Momentum (It also provides more EXP, so make sure to keep using them as much as possible).

The Crowd Goes Wild
Requirement: Execute a Flair Attack 10 times.
Missable: Yes

Once an enemy is staggered and low health, you'll see a button prompt above their head (Q by default), simply get close and press it. Repeat 10 times.

Bullet Hell
Requirement: Defeat 15 enemies with Star-Lord's Fan the Hammer ability.
Missable: Yes

This is one's of Star Lord's strongest ability. It melts any smaller enemies. You should be able to get this one from just playing naturally.

Altitude Adjustment
Requirement: Defeat 20 enemies with Star-Lord’s Eye of the Hurricane.
Missable: Yes

This one is not as powerful as the ability above. I did this one with the help of Groot's second ability (Uproot). It leaves the enemies to half hp, which should let you kill them with the Eye of the Hurricane ability a little easier.

Boom Show
Requirement: Defeat 20 enemies with Rocket’s Five Barrel Barrage.
Missable: Yes

Throughout the story, you'll sporadically unlock the last ability for each team members. Once you do, just make sure to use them as much as possible.

The easiest way to do this achievement is to wait until you reach a location in Drax's head (Chapter 11), that infinitely spawn Shadow monsters. Use any ability to lower the health of the enemies (Uproot is good for that) and use Rocket's Five Barrel Barrage to finish them off. Continue fighting without breaking the spawners and repeat until you get the achievement

Adding Injury to Insult
Requirement: Defeat 10 enemies affected by Drax’s Wrath of Katath ability.
Missable: Yes

Simply use the ability whenever it's off cooldown and finish the enemies that Drax staggers.

Trained to Perfection
Requirement: Defeat 10 enemies with Gamora’s Executioner ability.
Missable: Yes

Just use it throughout the story.

Herbal Remedy
Requirement: Revive or Heal Companions 10 times with Groot’s Gift of the Florae.
Missable: Yes

The easiest way to get this achievement is to do nothing in a fight and let Peter go down while Groot has the ability available. Peter will automatically revive, but it will also revive all other guardians, which the game counts as 5 separate revives. Do this twice and you'll easily get the achievement.

Killer Friendship
Requirement: Execute an Auto-Combo with Gamora.
Missable: Yes

To do any Auto-Combos, you need to have an enemy close to one of your teammates and spam the melee button (C by default) on the enemy. If your teammate is close enough it should start the Auto-Combo.

Katathian Handshake
Requirement: Execute an Auto-Combo with Drax.
Missable: Yes

Timber!
Requirement: Execute an Auto-Combo with Groot.
Missable: Yes

Aim Assist
Requirement: Execute an Auto-Combo with Rocket.
Missable: Yes

This one is a little more tricky since Rocket is a ranged fighter and prefers to be on Groot's shoulders. You'll need to wait until he's on foot and close to an enemy, which may take some time. You can also try to use the Wind Element (Acquired in Chapter 10) to push enemies towards Rocket.

Slakebuster
Requirement: Interrupt Slakebeast with Drax’s Call to Action.
Missable: Yes


You'll find the the Slakebeast in Chapter 3. During the battle, you will randomly be prompt with a key to press whenever you stagger the beast. Drax is the one that should perform the Call To Action, but it's a bit random. So if he's not the one doing it, reload the last checkpoint until he's the one doing it. Make sure to not finish the fight if you did not get the achievement. The game will autosave right away.

No Way, Nova Corps
Requirement: Interrupt a Nova Centurion with Gamora’s Call to Action.
Missable: Yes


You'll find the Nova Centurion in Chapter 7. Just like the Slakebuster achievement, make sure that Gamora is the one performing the Call To Action. If she doesn't do it. Reload the last checkpoint.

Drax the Dismemberer
Requirement: Dismember an Inquisitor with Drax’s Call to Action.
Missable: Yes


You'll find the Inquisitor in Chapter 7. The next 2 achievements are a little more annoying and involve a lot of RNG and patience. You need to make sure to not stagger the Inquisitor at all unlike previously with the other 2 achievements and make sure to not remove an arm. The Inquisitor needs both of their arms or you won't see the key prompt when Drax does the animation. Just keep firing until you reach it's 2nd health bar. Drax should grab the Inquisitor randomly, when he does you should see a key prompt. You might have to reload the last checkpoint multiple times until he does the animation, as he doesn't do it every time. Make sure that the enemy doesn't die. As it will autosave the game.

Groot Canal
Requirement: Interrupt a Charger with Groot’s Call to Action.
Missable: Yes


You'll find the Charger in Chapter 10. This one is similar to the achievement above. Groot will start an animation randomly and you'll have to press it to get the achievement.

Collectables & Outfits

This section requires a whole other guide. I recommend following this guide[www.pushsquare.com] to find all the collectibles & outfits.

Thoughtful Captain
Requirement: Find half of the Guardian Collectibles.
Missable: Yes

Managerial Skills
Requirement: Find all of the Guardian Collectibles for one Guardian.
Missable: Yes

Like a Glove!
Requirement: Find and equip one Outfit.
Missable: Yes

Fashion Passion
Requirement: Find and equip all Outfits.
Missable: Yes

Lore Hoarder
Requirement: Collect 65% of all Galactic Compendium entries of each category.
Missable: Yes

For this achievement, you'll need to fill up 65% of the entries for each category. The first 4 will automatically fill up as you go. The Items category will fill up as you collect the Guardians Collectibles for the other achievement. As for the Archives category, you'll need to find text log through out the game. The first one you'll find will be in Rocket's room.

You'll find most of them on alternate paths, next to collectibles and outfits. Make sure to explore as much as you can. You should complete this one without thinking about it too much if you are trying to complete the other achievements from this category. I got it half-way through the game while looking for all the collectibles and outfits.

A good way to get a ton of Archive entries is in Chapter 6, when you meet Lipless. He'll give you a ticket to The Collector’s Emporium, which normally would cost you 5k units. Make sure to salvage your relationship with him. To get the ticket for free. The Collector’s Emporium as a ton of archive to find.

Here are the correct choices for your conversation with Lipless:

Miscellaneous

Galactic Frugality
Requirement: Pay your Nova Corps fine.
Missable: Yes

In Chapter 9, you'll have an option to pay you're fine, make sure to pay it. Be careful, in Chapter 6, you'll have some options to spend some units. Make sure to keep 7000 units if you hid the Llama or 8000 units if you hid the illegal tech instead.

Eat It, Rodent
Requirement: Win the bet against Rocket.
Missable: Yes

This one is missable but very easy to do. At some point throughout Chapter 1, you'll enter a Kree Sentry's head. In there you'll find a ton of parasites to shot. Which should give you a huge lead and most likely give you the win.

For the slakebeast one with Drax, I have done this so many times and the achievement won't pop. I've seen Drax do his call to action a dozen times and nothing. What am I doing wrong?

I went through the game, carefully examined all the corners. In chapter 6, I didn't buy ANYTHING and missed the scene in the bar with Lipless. Lore Hoarder was not received.

Starting a New Game + I got to chapter 6 (I didn't read the archives, just speedrun). This time I didn't miss the scene in the bar with Lipless, and as soon as he gave me a ticket, I got a Lore Hoarder.

I unlocked 2 achievements at the same time i.e. Killer Friendship - Execute an Auto-Combo with Gamora and Thoughtful Captain - Find half of the Guardian Collectibles, while in combat, which should not be possible, earlier also I unlocked trophy in 2 stack after the end of a boss fight. Is this a known bug?

Also you can backtrack chapters to get missed items and clothes, just need to die after getting the item so that the game autosaves your progress (not taking your save slot). The next time you continue game from where you left off, you can ask about the items to the guardians members

Good news! Going to collector's emporium is not needed to get the Lore Hoarder. I collect every guardian's items and got the achievement early chapter 12. The number of archive i collected when i got the achievement is only 13.

While I was following one of the collectible guides, for some reason I got "Find all of the Guardian Collectibles for one Guardian" at the same time as finding half of them. I know wording is weird because I need all collectibles of one of the Guardians but how is it Half and All together?

Point for update: "Drax the Dismemberer" is not bound to the chapter 7 encounter and can be achieved while fighting any Inquisitor. For example, it is possible to get this achievement during escape in chapter 8.

When you start a new game, all of your guardians collectables pass over from previous playthroughs, and won't get added to your compendium! I can't delete local files on my deck to fully start over so I'm just screwed I guess.
