Description
The Dongfeng 5 locomotive is one of the shunting locomotives currently being used by China Railways. It is mainly used in marshalling stations and section stations to complete various shunting operations. The car was first designed by the Dalian plant in conjunction with the Tangshan plant in 1974, and was trial-produced and produced by the Tangshan plant. The Ministry of Railways issued relevant documents in 1981, instructing the Dalian plant to improve the design and re-test production.
