Nightingale Hall - Nocturnal Forge

Description
The original post with an extended Changelog can be found on the Nexus site at this address: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52351/?

The Nocturnal Forge can be found in Nightingale Hall, which can be visited during and after the quest "Trinity Restored" (This is a Thieves Guild quest, for those of you who are unaware).

Current Features:
(All items require the Elven Smithing perk)

Using the Nocturnal Forge, the player can now forge a full set of Nightingale armour, as well as the Nightingale Bow and Blade. All of these items are unenchanted, but they can be enchanted by the player at an enchanting table. These items are also slightly stronger than the normal Player Nightingale armour (In fact, they are the NPC versions of the armour). I left it like that to make up for the lack of Nightingale enchantments on the items.

Possible Features:
-I may modify the recipes in the future, but only if feedback suggests I do so
-I may add enchanted versions to the crafting list, but that once again depends on feedback.

If you notice any bugs, or what you believe may be bugs, please bring them to my attention. While I do use my own mods, I can't test every variable, so I would appreciate your help.

Incompatabilities (Obviously, only known ones):

-Improved Closed Face Helmets (Removes hood texture on the NPC version, which is what this mod uses)
-Possibly any other mod that modifies Nightingale Hall.

Suggested Mods:

Expanded Thieves Guild - Diversified Armours - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/55139/?
-Adds a number of new armours to the Ragged Flagon Cistern to suit a number of different playstyles.

Wearable Thieves Guild Armor Variants - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52339/?
-Makes all variants of the Thieves Guild armour wearable. I'd highly suggest using these two mods alongside each other, even if they weren't both mine.

Improved Nightingale Hall
-Improves Nightingale Hall after completion of the Thieves Guild. Does not clip with or ruin this mod in any way. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34743/?

Permissions:
-Do not post this file on other websites without my permission
-You are free to modify the files for personal use, but do not publish modified files without my permission

Changelog:
v1.1:
-Fixed bug where craftable sword was non-playable

v1.0:
-Added Nocturnal Forge to Nightingale Hall
-Added crafting and tempering recipes for NPC version of Nightingale armour (unenchanted)
-Made NPC version of Nightingale armour wearable

@dirtyharri |EnC| Here's one thing; do you have the Fine-cut Void Salts in your inventory? If you do, try returning it and then going back to the forge.

First: Make sure you meet the smithing level requirements (Elven Smithing).

If that checks out make sure you have all of the other materials (I think some of it needs leather, but I don't really recall. It's been far too long since I've worked on this mod)

Lastly, try starting a new character, taking them to the Hall (Console command should be "coc NightingalHall01") and giving yourself the required items/perks to see if it works there.

If none of those work, let me know and I'll see if the issue can be replicated on another PC.

It might have been a mod i have on skyrim

Well, in the vanilla game, it's impossible to disenchant them. That could be part of the reason why. The enchantment probably is not made to be placed on any piece of armour, and was just placed on those items manually when they were creating the game (In the Creation Kit, it's possible to a helmet enchantment to a chest plate, depending on the enchantment)

I like the mod I just wish that I could put my nightingale enchantments onto there becuase you can't put those on anything for a strange reason (I mean the actual Nightingale armor that you get when you disenchant them)

thumbs up anyway
GreatSilentOne  [author] Jun 27, 2014 @ 6:16pm
That is because the armor still does not benefit from the Elven Smithing perk for tempering.

Ah, problem solved. Besides 100 in smithing u need at least 4 gear with fortify smithing equiped. :)
