Thieves Guild - Wearable Variants

Description
The original post and a full changelog can be found on Nexus at this address: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52339/?

If you've ever found it bothersome that not all of the variants of the Thieves Guild Armor were wearable, this is a mod I am sure you will enjoy using.

Current features:
-Encounter Thieves will drop a set of Thieves Guild Armor (Ordinary set, unenchanted but can be enchanted by player).

-Killing a thief wearing the white variant will actually drop their armour (Also unenchanted).

-Makes Summerset Shadow thieves drop their armour (Unenchanted; Replaces hood mesh with brown variant due to an aesthetic preference).

-(This bullet has been worded to avoid spoilers) The armour of the NPC slain at the end of the "Blindsighted" quest (Unenchanted, can be tempered).

-Brown variant hood and white variant set can be found lying around the Ragged Flagon Cistern in Riften.

Possible Futures:
-May add enchantments to all variants (Depends on user feedback)
-May make Thieves Guild brown variant hood the standard hood (Depends on user feedback)

Suggested Mods:

Expanded Thieves Guild - Diversified Armours - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/55139/?
-Adds a number of new armours to the Ragged Flagon Cistern to suit a number of different playstyles.

Nocturnal Forge - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52351/?
-Adds a forge to Nightingale Hall where an unenchanted set of Nightingale armor and weapons can be forged.

Changelog:

v2.0:
-Added white variant set and variant hood to Thieves Guild Headquarters (All unenchanted; may change later)
-Modified names of variants for clarity

This is a very convenient mod my friend, excellent job.

First of all, are you absolutely certain the mod is activated? Secondly, do you have SkyRe installed? I have recently noticed that it doesn't operate as intended with SkyRe, though I thought it was merely situational. If you can help me figure out why, I can patch it. Or, at least try to.

I do believe I already stated that a number of times below, but thank you for that comment. The mod was not intended as the sole route for obtaining the items, but rather to make it both easier and more realistic, as unplayable armours tend to be irritating. Also, the armours are different from those armours you've mentioned, in that they are not enchanted.

Also, the alternative brown hood is not available in the vanilla game, or through DLCs.

You don't need this. If you complete Theives guild quests, you canget Guildmaster armor (black), and if you do the Windhelm quests you can ge the gray variant,in this instance, called Linwe's armor. With the Dragonborn DLC, you can get another version of the gray variant by completing Glover Mallory's quest, called Blackguard Armor.

I'm going to ignore the venom in that comment, and add this: If nothing else, you can use console commands. However, as I already said, it is possible to get two of each armour in vanilla Skyrim. It may not be easy, but what's the point in playing a game if it's too easy?

Well it must suck being so good. All I have is vanilla and no Idea how get or use the creation kit. So what's it like being king?

If you progress through the Thieves Guild side quests until you have the mission to win back Windhelm, the second Guild (The Summerset Shadows) will drop sets of the alternate brown armour. If you're talking about the white armour, you can find Linwe's armour in the same quest, and the Blackguard's armour if you have Dragonborn installed. With this mod, there are actually two sets of the white variant added by Dragonborn, as the dead thief's armour during the mission for Glover Mallory is actually playable. That in mind, it shouldn't be necessary for you to forge a new set. I have no intentions of making the armours craftable, as that is not the goal of this mod and is rather unfriendly to lore (The Thieves Guild armours are basically all unique, not for every blacksmith to forge).

Can I forge a set for my follower? So we match.
