No, there is no such magic. The difference can be seen in the comparison screenshots. If you do not notice the difference, you can safely skip this mod.

1) Install https://store.steampowered.com/app/420/HalfLife_2_Episode_Two/

2) Make sure to install Half-Life 2 4X AI Textures and Half-Life 2: Episode One 4X AI Textures because Half-Life 2: Episode One uses most of the textures from Half-Life 2 and some textures from Half-Life 2: Episode One.

3) Download 7z archive:
Half-Life 2: Episode Two 4X AI Textures by deeppurple1968 / Google Drive[drive.google.com]
*Note, I will upload updates to the Google Drive folder. Update files need to be extracted from the archive with the replacement files.

4) Create a Custom folder in the Half-Life 2\ep2\ folder

5) Extract folder HL2_EP2_4X_AI_DP68_Textures into Half-Life2\ep2\custom\ folder, the final path should look like this:
D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\ep2\custom\HL2_EP2_4X_AI_DP68_Textures\

Hello. I didn't quite understand your problem with my Half-Life 2: Episode Two 4X AI Textures mod. VR mod files are identical to regular game mod files. Can you record a video of your problem?

Does your VR Mod texures have a fix for particle textures in the normal HL2:EP2 texture pack? It could be that there's a conflicting mod, but I put the pack at the bottom of the load order in hopes of avoiding that.
