PGL Major Stockholm 2021

As you know, the next CS:GO Major will start in 8 days (October 26th 2021) on Avicii Arena in Stockholm and will feature a pool prize of $2,000,000 USD. Also, it's the first offline major since 2019! The event will end on November 7th 2021.

This guide will give you all the information you want, from event format to teams, news and predictions. Feel free to share your predictions in the comments!

Introduction

The Format

The New Challengers Stage: October 26th - 29th, 2021
- 16 Team Swiss System Format
• Elimination and Advancement matches are Bo3
• All other matches are Bo1
- Top 8 Teams proceed to The New Legends Stage
- Bottom 8 Teams are eliminated

The New Legends Stage: October 30th - November 2nd, 2021
- 16 Team Swiss System Format
• Elimination and Advancement matches are Bo3
• All other matches are Bo1
- Top 8 Teams proceed to The New Champions Stage
- Bottom 8 Teams are eliminated

The New Champions Stage: November 4th - 7th, 2021

Viewer Pass

The Stockholm 2021 Major Viewer Pass has been released on October 22nd, 2021! 50% of the proceeds go to the teams and organizations taking part in the PGL Stockholm 2021 Major.

Price:

Pass - 8,50€
Pass + 3 Souvenir Tokens - 15,25€

When you activate your pass, you'll immediately unlock your Stockholm 2021 Event Coin, as well as team graffiti that you can use throughout the event. You'll also unlock team flair that you can use to show support for your favorite team while watching on Steam.tv!

With an activated pass, you'll get access to the Stockholm 2021 Pick'Em Challenge. Complete your challenges and earn Souvenir Tokens that you can redeem for Stockholm 2021 Souvenirs!

Stockholm 2021 Event Coin

Activate the Viewer Pass and you'll get a (Bronze) Stockholm 2021 Event Coin that you can upgrade by the Stockholm Pick'Em Challenge. Every time you upgrade your coin you will earn a Souvenir Token that can be redeemed for a Souvenir Package from the match of your choice. Your coin will upgrade when you've completed three (Silver), six (Gold), or all nine (Diamond) challenges.

Souvenir Tokens

You can earn up to three Souvenir Tokens with a Viewer Pass, and each token can be redeemed for a souvenir from the match of your choice.
You can also purchase the Viewer Pass +3 to start off with three Souvenir Tokens, or purchase as many Souvenir Tokens as you'd like once you've activated your Pass for 2.5€ / token

Team Stickers

Team stickers are available in team sticker capsules featuring the Legends, Challengers, or Contender for 0.85€. Stickers are available in Paper, Holo, Foin and Gold finishes.

NEW: Team Patches

For the first time, for 1.7€ you can purchase patches featuring team logos to display on the agent of your choice. You can purchase team patch packs featuring the Legends, Challengers, or Contenders and the patches will come in either normal or gold finishes.

Pick'Em Challenge

You have in total 9 challenges you need to finish in order to get 3 Souvenir Tokens and Upgrade to the Diamond Coin. You can complete these challenges by simply heading into your pass after purchase, and clicking on one of them. Players will then be able to perform these nine tasks as the tournament progresses, making Pick'Em predictions. To complete all the PGL Stockholm Major challenges in CS:GO will require a good knowledge of the esport.

Here is all the info about the Challengers Stage. This stage consists in 5 BO1 (Best Of 1) rounds. I will be updating this after we get more information and the Major starts.

And the winner of PGL Stockholm 2021 CS:GO Major is....NAVI! And what a time to be alive! NAVI made it with S1mple on board to win a Major after 5 years! And it made it in style, being the 1st team in the history of CS:GO that won a Major without loosing a single game! They are undefeatable!

[UPDATE] Legends Stage - Day 1: After the 1st day, FaZe, G2, Gambit, Entropiq, VP, NAVI, NIP and Astralis got their first win in a BO1 game type. Entropiq is still holding strong, while Copenhagen Flames lost their first game versus G2 (16-11). Next round is EG vs Copenhagen and Gambit vs Entropiq. It will be nice to see the game between NIP and Astralis and Vitality and Heroic. Those I think are the close matches.
