How to Maximize Collection Event Rewards

A method to get the most Tier 4 and 5 Insta-Monkeys during Collection Events.

Notes

This guide requires usage of Windows 10 and have administrator privileges on your account.

After opening the game, press Alt+Tab to view the task bar. In bottom right corner you'll see a small computer icon.

Right click the icon and click the "Open Network & Internet settings".

Click "Change adapter options".

You'll see a list of all your connections. Find the main internet connection (which means ignore the one you made to play Minecraft over LAN three years ago) and right click it.

From the menu, choose the "Disable" option. This requires administrator privileges.

Now go back into BTD6. You won't be able to play things like Co-Op, Boss Events, or Challenges. I recommend to play Impoppable on either Advanced or Expert, and exclusively the Bonus Rewards maps. to maximize Collection gains. When you're done grinding, close the game.

Go back to network settings, right click the connection you disabled, and press "Enable". Open the game again, and you will see the crate opening screen, Open all the crates you earned.

What's the point of this?

You might ask yourself, what's the point of doing all of this? Well, it's to focus on the high tier crates. By turning off your internet, you prevent yourself from immediaely redeeming the Wooden, Bronze or Silver crates. The crate tiers depend on the amount of tokens collected, so if you get a lot of them before opening any crates, you can skip the earlier ones and get a lot of high tier Instas.

A bunch of data

Bonus Rewards maps quadruple your Impoppable token rewards. Play these exclusively.

There's no point to playing maps on CHIMPS, as Impoppable has the same rewards.

100 tokens allow you to jump straight to Bronze crates, and open 3 of them.
250 tokens allow you to jump straight to Silver crates, and open 6 of them.
450 tokens allow you to jump straight to Golden crates, and open 9 of them.
1000 tokens allow you to jump straight to Diamond crates, and open 14 of them.

Bronze Crate costs 30 tokens to open.
Silver Crate costs 40 tokens to open.
Golden Crate costs 50 tokens to open.
Diamond Crate costs 70 tokens to open.

Bronze Crates contain 2x Tier 1, Tier 2 or Tier 3 Instas.
Silver Crates contain 2x Tier 2 or Tier 3 Instas.
Golden Crates contain 2x or 3x Tier 3 or Tier 4 Instas.
Diamond Crates contain 2x or 3x Tier 3, Tier 4 or Tier 5 Instas.

The Favored Instas, which allow you to receive only a specific monkey type from Crates, refresh at 4:00, 12:00 and 20:00 GMT.
