Maintenance Drone Maintainer [Deprecated]

Description
UPDATE: As of patch 3.4, the automation this mod provides has become redundant. The new planet/sector automation features included in the patch provide an "Amenities" Automation Setting that when enabled reduces the number of worked maintenance drone jobs to maintain positive amenities, in a similar fashion to this mod.

If you enable planet automation for every planet and silence the empty stockpile warning, the base game will properly prioritize maintenance drones across your empire without needing this mod. To clarify, the Amenities Automation Setting will properly modify amenity job priorities despite running an empty stockpile that restricts automated building construction. (You can also run a positive stockpile, but I don't agree with the automation's choices about upgrading buildings).

I'm leaving this mod available for games before patch 3.4 and as an alternative if users prefer this solution to turning planet automation on in every planet. The 3.4 update has not broken this mod, so it should be safe to load into your games, but I will not be "updating" the mod for future patches as the functionality has become redundant.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The aim of this mod is to remove the need to periodically micro the number of open maintenance drone jobs.
For gestalt empires, adds an edict called Maintenance Drone Maintainer. This will add a modifier to colonized planets that reduces the number of available maintenance drone jobs if there are excessive amenities. Every month planets are checked to update the correct number of jobs.
This mod will modify checksum. Doesn't modify any game files so should be compatible with other mods.
Great mod! And it's defenitely not redundant, because build-in automation still assigned more maintenance POP than required.
For example, ascetic + attractive silicoid hive mind, starting planet with 33 POP, required 2 maint.drone (+1 amenties). Your mod did exacly the same, i.e. maintain lowest positive amenties possible. Automation tool assigned 3 maint.drones for +5 amenties for some reason...
PS for slowpokes like me: amenties automation = right click on "auto" button in planet window. It isn't in the sector window.
I've provided an update in the description, but as of Overlord the base game provides a solution to maintenance drone automation. Feel free to continue using the mod, it still works, but I don't plan to update it for future patches when an alternative solution exists in the base game. From my limited testing the built in solution works just as well, if a little clunky.
Thanks for using my mod up to this point :)
I have the edict disabled for the AI because I'm unsure how it would handle the unemployment that might be caused running it in the early game.
Does the AI use this edict? I think this would improve all AI if they all used this edict.
It shouldn't take an edict slot. This was working at time of implementation. As you can see in the screenshot I'm running capacity subsidies for 1/1, my added edict does not impact edict capacity.
Let me know if this no longer works as of the current patch and I'll look into a fix.
Lovely mod! Realy pathetic that it is necessary though... Would you mind changing the mod to add 1 more edict capacity as well? Since it's not realy a bonus but more a QOL change it wouldn't make sense to use a edict slot for it. Or better yet, have it simply auto on without edict.
