ARA Mendoza

The Mendoza class were a series of three destroyers built in the United Kingdom for the Argentine Navy in the 1920s. They were the first part of the Argentine re-armament programme of the 1920s. Construction began in 1927 and all three were commissioned in 1929.
The ships were based on the British Admiralty type flotilla leader design built at the end of World War I, enlarged and with minor modifications.



P.S : This my seventh creation with Navalart, the destroyer is pretty basic and expect a model not 100% accurate. I used the dd hull made by Si-Non for the base. Now the hull is been reworked and has different lenght and size according to the ship characteristics.





Armament :

5 x japanese 120mm

1 x dual japanese 25mm

2 x german 20mm

1 x dual american 40mm

2 x triple japanese 533mm torpedo tubes

the depth charges don't work and are only there for aesthetic reasons.


It can reach 37 kn as maximum speed
