This addon is based upon the previous Workshop addition of the same name and content,

As the title suggests, this is the Smart Pistol Mk5 from Tianfall that was uploaded several years ago to the Workshop.
However I have seen that the addon could be improved in many different ways, the following segment would be describing the new features of this Enhancement.


New Features:

-The Pistol now Draws the trajectory of the bullet, this means that the weapon will draw a line between the centre of the reticle and the target.

-If the weapon has targeted an Entity (NPC/Player), as soon as you clic the "Fire" Button (Left Mouse Button), the weapon will shoot until the target is dead (as long as the reticle is red, if you have set the reticle away from target, it will turn white and order the weapon to stop shooting).

-Extended Magazine, the weapon now has the cappability to fire up to 18 rounds (18 + 1 if it was reloaded while there were bullets in the clip).

-Updated FOV to be more dynamic, as well as the zoom FOV.

-Removed movemment limitations, this one reffers to being able to shoot the weapon from the hip while sprinting (in any direction).

-Larger reticle, now the weapon has a wider reticle for aiming.

-Reticle stats, you can visualize the target´s health, the model name and the amount of bullets left in the magazine (tried to attache it to the gun but failed, so I decided to put it in the upper part of the HUD reticle).

Greetings KauaFelipe, hope you are doing well,

The weapong being invisible is a common issue with other scripts causing the "active weapon" to be switched quickly (bsmod, quick knives, etc) and as the "active weapon" returns to the original (the smart pistol), the viewmodel bugs visually and requires you to re-equip the weapon entirelly. Sadly this bug is extremelly random and cannot be fixed within the SWEP (to my basic lua understanding).
Asides from the previous concern, the viewmodel as a whole was not made by me, all the 3d assets are from the Titanfall game and ported by the original creator, because of this detail, I was limited to using the weapon with the "fake pilot suit" as part of the weapon in first person.
If you want the weapon to be exclusive to your playermodel, I highly recommend using a third person camera to later adjust the position to be inside the player´s head. Furthermore you will have the additional "fix".

Hello, Lieutenant Colonel. The smart pistol is one of my favorite mods from Garry's Mod, but when I use it with the "bsmod killmove" mod after using a killmove, the pistol becomes invisible. Could you fix this bug? I would be very grateful. And would it be possible to use other playermodels while using it?

I would love an addon that just has the hud element from this, with the box in the center and the line to the target, just separate from the weapon. It'd be a nice futuristic addition to other HUD elements.

And then also think of all the possible ammo types with TFA... Here's just some of my suggestions and ideas:
GIB (Classic Bullet), .22LR (Smallest round, sacrafices damage for extreme ammo in the mag), 5mm (More ammo in the mag), 10mm (Basic, holds less than 5mm), 13mm ANTI-FREAK (Pierces Armor and can nearly one shot anything at the cost of only holding 6 rounds), SEEKER-12 (12 bullets fired for the price of one that seek everything in the reticle), SEEKER-66 (Fires 66 bullets for the price of one that seek everything in the reticle, like a SAM launcher that fires bullets), SMART Rocket (Fires miniature anti vehicle rockets that once locked onto an enemy do not need guidance), and finally 72X32CZ (Anti Tank rifle single round breach action. This is the equivalent to a Tank Shell with one main purpose: destroying any armored vehicle. This ammo was popularized in the show Hellsing Ultimate from the Harkonnen Cannon, which is basically a rifle taken STRAIGHT off a tank.)

when you graduate I know you'll do great things to this addon.

Maybe even make a TFA version? In TFA, I have recoil disabled or at least mitigated to near zero. Imagine it having several smart modes based on TFA scripting?

Only weakpoints, Only Headshots, Only Torso Shots, Only Left Leg, Only Right Leg, Only Right Leg, Only left arm, Only Right arm.

Greetings Carlos,

I wish I could spend more time on this small addon, however, due to college I was not able to do so. Besides for small patches fixing possible errors or broken features, I do not plan to further update the addon.
For creating the menu, a few consecutive hours need to be spent into studying the respective Lua code, and the a few more hours in order to test the results.
I am more than displeased to even comment the addon status to be pseudo-abandoned.
Please do note the if you know how to create those additions and properly (or at least try) coding them, feel free to use the GMA as ypu desire (for uploading purposes I recommend crediting the original author of the smart pistol, as seen in the description).
If I could help in any other way, please let me know.
