How to drive in Trackmania Nations/United (Forever)

Today, this guide will show you how to drive properly in the Trackmania games! Let's start.

TIP 1: Keyboard or Controller?

Do you have a controller? Probably. If you don't, i recommend keyboard. But if you do, try playing a day with both and pick the one which you are most comfortable with!

TIP 2: Keybinds

Controllers have limited buttons unlike keyboards, but controllers can fit every keybind in the controller. Keyboards have too much buttons it's pretty much enough for every game EVER! Someone will pick W or Up Arrow for accelerate or maybe Space, Down Arrow or S for brakes but you can just fiddle with every keybind. For controllers, it is recommended to use the Steam Controller Keybinder!

TIP 3: Mechanics

Drifting can be magnificent in some situations like full speed turns! Maybe bugsliding helps too! There are great videos about every mechanics you can use to gain that slimmer of time!

TIP 4: Graphics

No one probably cares about this one but lower graphics are actually the key to driving really well! If you have high graphics, pretty shiny or cool objects can distract you like pretty cool lightning effects. This is what probably no one uses but you should!
