Introduction
There are a variety of maps in Goose Goose Duck, and there are several differences about each of them besides how they look or what tasks they have. This guide is primarily meant for new players, or as a quick reference, as you should learn most of what's provided for a given map after playing that map for an hour or two. Below is a breakdown defining the basic categories of what I'm covering:

Button/Bell/Horn Location: Where you go to call an emergency meeting.
Cameras/Intercom: Whether there are cameras and/or intercoms on the map.
Sabotages: Which sabotages can be activated on the map (sabotages with a * have no goose task equivalent, and ones with ~ are part of a goose task, but you probably don't want to be seen on them anyway).
Vents/Sewer/Hide Locations: Number of each and how they interact.
Map Hazard(s): Ways you can die on the map besides being directly killed by another player.
Important Notes: Crucial information not covered by any category above.
Other Notes: Anything else about the map that is worth mentioning.
Achievements: Short descriptions of achievements specific to the map.
Global Tasks
A global task will show up in every player's task list, and any player can complete it, but it will be removed from your list once a player completes the task. There are global tasks on Nexus and The Basement.
Live Kill Counts
In each pre-game lobby, there is a number in the hundreds of thousands or millions that represents the actual number of players killed or voted out on all servers since the daily server reset.
Cameras and Intercom (MG/BS/NC)
Each game, a non-duck player is randomly assigned the task to Activate the Security Cameras, as well as Repair the Intercom (can be the same player). If you have one or both of these tasks, please do them right away.
Cameras: Once activated, any player can use the cameras for any length of time, and multiple players can use them at once. Each camera shows a red, blinking light when a player is currently watching the cameras.
Intercom: Once activated, each living player may use the intercom one time per game. If you're using proximity chat, you can speak a short message that all living players will hear.
Jail (MG/GC)
Getting Sent to Jail
When the majority vote ties between players or between a player(s) and skip, the tied player(s) are sent to jail. A player who receives a single vote from the Snitch Duck will also go to jail. No one is sent to jail if a player is voted out.
Getting Out of Jail
When a player(s) are sent to jail, 2-3 keys spawn. Any player can pass through a key to pick it up, and they can bring the key to the jail cell to unlock it. The cell will automatically unlock after a certain time if no one unlocks it. The Locksmith can unlock the door without grabbing a key first.
Achievements:
Pick up a jail cell key 100 times; get sent to jail 500 times.
Exploring Maps
If you are newer to the game, it can be helpful to explore maps before playing on them. You can select a map from the tutorial menu and click "Explore." You will be able to do all of the goose tasks on the map, check out different rooms, as well as vent, hide, or go in the fog. Certain gameplay features may not be present or functional in explore mode, such as the transporter on The Basement or the sandstorm on Ancient Sands. If you vent or hide, your color will change. You cannot die or earn achievements while exploring.

Be careful when using the shuttle as you will die if the shuttle sabotage is not fixed.
Be careful when using the teleporter as there is a variable chance you will die when it's sabotaged. You can check the status of the teleporter from the Loading Bay.

Change Map
From here, you can take your group to another map to play another game mode.

Collection
From here, you can change your outfit.

Private Rooms
There are four private rooms with doors that can only be opened or closed from the inside, which allow for completely private conversations.
Mini Games
You can play mini games from this room. Tööt is currently the only mini game.

The lounge houses the physical location of the Peck and Claw machines that can be accessed from the collection.
Jungle Temple (JT)
Quick Breakdown
Horn Location: Pit of Worship
Sabotages: Summon Darkness, Doors, *Feed God*, Bridge, Boulder
Fog Locations: 2
Map Hazard(s): Bridge, Boulder
Other Notes: The sixth map, released on 03/24/2022 in update 1.10, part of the Ancient Era.
Achievements: Play 25 games; win 250 games.
Horn Location (Pit of Worship)
Sabotages
In order: Summon Darkness (Burial Chamber), Doors (Training Grounds), *Feed God* (Pit of Worship), Bridge (Throne Room), Boulder (Hallway west of Staging Area). Ducks always have Summon Darkness, Feed God, and Boulder, and they will either have Doors or Bridge.
Dispelling the Darkness
Here is a map of all the torches that you can relight to fix the Summon Darkness sabotage. There are a number of additional torches on the map that do nothing.
The Fog
These locations can be seen in red on the map above. Most ducks, the Mimic, and the Pigeon can use the fog. The toggle button allows you to prevent yourself from passing the edge of the fog, which works from the inside as well (handy for spying from the fog without being seen). Players outside the fog can hear players talking or farting inside the fog, so be careful.
Map Hazards
Avoid standing on any of these bridges.
Avoid standing in the marked section of the map, which is in the path of the boulder.
Light a Fire Visual Task
One non-duck will be assigned the task to cut wood and light a fire. Lighting this fire will provide light during the Summon Darkness sabotage, and the fire dos not reset at meetings (however, I cannot confirm that it will last indefinitely).
The Basement (TB)
Quick Breakdown
Bell Location: Sacrificial Altar
Sabotages: Summon Darkness, Doors, Telepathy, Clairvoyance, Feed Yee'ucky, Sacrifice Bell
Hide Locations: 5
Map Hazard(s): None
Special Notes: Has a transporter, 6 peepholes, 2 places to dispose of bodies, and a global task.
Other Notes: The seventh map, released on 6/17/2022 in update 2.03, part of the Ducktorian Era. The Basement is canonically under Mallard Manor.
Achievements: Play 25 games; win 250 games.
Bell Location (Sacrificial Altar)
Sabotages
In order: Summon Darkness (Laboratory), Doors (Storage-Lower), Telepathy (Storage-Upper), Clairvoyance (Foggy Cave), Feed Yee'ucky (Study), Sacrifice Bell (The Pit). Ducks always have doors and fire. For the third, they will have Sacrifice Bell or Feed Yee'ucky. For the fourth, they will have Telepathy or Clairvoyance (always Clairvoyance on one duck).
Hide Locations and Map
Peepholes
There are 6 places where you can see through the walls (also seen in the map above).
Transporter
Located just above The Pit (see pink square on the map above), using the Transporter will transport you to a randomly selected spawn location on the map. There is a pink sparkle animation and a sound effect to indicate to other players that you used teleporter (so no one thinks you're the Invisibility).
Sacrifice Bell
When this sabotage gets called, you can avoid it either by finding the bell (which is somewhere on the map) or by reporting a body before the timer ends. Otherwise, you enter a meeting in which a player must be voted out, or else a randomly selected non-duck will be sacrificed. This means that you want to get off any task and go look for the bell or a body when Sacrifice Bell gets called. This sabotage can't be called in conjunction with doors, and the time to find the bell is dependent on the number of players. You cannot pick up the bell as a duck (if you try, it teleports somewhere else), so you want to avoid getting near it.
Summon Darkness Map
This sabotage works like it does on Jungle Temple, where you have to light individual lamps around the map.
Disposing of Bodies
If you're Undertaker, you can drag bodies to the top of Foggy Cave and drop them in the river, or throw bodies into the boiler (Boiler Room). The same effect happens if you kill right next to these locations, which works for any killing role (including geese), and there is a custom kill animation (seen below). A Canadian killed this way will NOT be auto-reported.

Pay Respects
Pay Respects is a global task that opens the door in Tunnel Entrance.
Iron Maiden Jump Scare

There is a very low chance of being jump scared during the Open Iron Maiden task. Credit to Shorny for getting the scare on video, as seen here[cdn.discordapp.com].
Telepathy/Clairvoyance Visual Indicators
Whenever Telepathy or Clairvoyance is called, the plants in The Pit and Foggy Cave turn red for the duration of the Sabotage.

Ancient Sands (AS)
Quick Breakdown
Bell Location: The Streets
Sabotages: Doors, Summon Mummy, Summon Fire, Sacrifice Bell
Fog Locations: 4
Map Hazard(s): Mummy, Locusts
Special Notes: Has several map-specific roles and sabotages, a Magic Mirror, and a river boat.
Other Notes: The eighth map, released on 12/9/2022 in update 2.14, part of the Ancient Era.
Achievements: Play 25 games; win 250 games.
Bell Location (The Streets)
Sabotages
Doors (Pyramid), Summon Mummy (Library), Summon Fire (Supply Hut), Sacrifice Bell (Artisan's House). Ducks always have Doors, Mummy, and Fire, but don't always have Sacrifice Bell.
Fog Locations
There are four areas where you can go into the fog.
River Boat
The boat on the right side moves back and forth automatically, staying at each port for a set time before moving to the other port. The fishing task is on the boat, so when you have that task you will see the yellow dot moving back and forth with the boat. The boat does NOT stop for any reason.
Sandstorms
Sandstorms will occur randomly on the map's outdoor areas. Non-ducks have a reduced vision circle, and all players have reduced clarity of vision because of the sand. The sandstorm itself can't kill you, but usually the ducks will be in the storm killing any players outside. You usually want to head indoors and wait out the storm. The Tracker can see the locations of players that were outside when the sandstorm started.
Magic Mirror
The Magic Mirror is located at the top of the Pyramid in the fog. The Pigeon, Mimic, and ducks that can use the fog can use the mirror while they're alive. The view can be moved around the map at will, and you have a black and white view of players with audio. It is possible to catch a duck in the act as a non-duck, or to help target the locust sabotage as the Warlock. Just be careful while using it as either role as you could get sussed by a non-duck as a duck, or killed by a duck as a non-duck.
The Mummy
The mummy is a duck sabotage. The mummy usually spawns by the sarcophagus in the Pyramid and will head towards the nearest living player. The mummy has no kill cooldown and can kill players in quick succession. The mummy can break down doors, and it can go anywhere on the map besides the fog (it can go on the boat). The mummy can kill anyone but the Adventurer, and can kill any number of players. The mummy cannot be killed and will not trigger any abilities tied to a player killing (Canadian, Celebrity, Avenger). The mummy disappears after 20 seconds, and you CANNOT call a bell to dispel it, but you can report a body. The mummy cannot even target the Adventurer, so the Adventurer can't lead it away from other players. The mummy also has a low chance of spawning in Embalming House by the sarcophagus.
Summon Fire
Unlike most maps, you have to go grab a bucket of water before you can attempt to put out a fire. The fire will spawn in one or two buildings depending on the number of living players, and three players need to go to each fire with a bucket to put it out. You have to work quickly and efficiently to put out the fires. As a non-duck, if you can kill a player and report the body, it's a good idea to. As a duck, you actually don't want to be killing while the fire is active, or call fire after there are already dead bodies around.
Doors
Unlike most maps, the doors on AS can be picked open from the outside by any player (with the exception of the Pyramid doors). The Street Urchin can also open doors from the inside. To pick locks, click the cylinders from left to right, ignoring cylinders that have have a blue square underneath them. You may have to backtrack and click a cylinder again, but this process works most of the time.
Locusts
Locusts can only be called if there is a Warlock duck, so you won't see them as often. They can only be in one room, and you have ample time to get out if you're there when they first get called. You do not want to enter a room with Locusts, as anyone in the room when the sabotage ends will be killed.
Peephole
There is a peephole in the Goose Egg Temple that allows you to see outside.
Bloodhaven (BH) - Classic/Draft
Quick Breakdown
Bell Location: Chapel
Sabotages: Demon Form, Summon Demon, Poison Water Pump, Sacrifice Bell
Hide Locations: None
Map Hazard(s): None
Special Notes: Has a day/night cycle and corruption. Has a couple map-specific sabotages, as well as two body disposal areas.
Other Notes: The ninth map, released on 4/15/2023 in update 2.21, part of the Ducktorian era.

Bell location: Chapel

Sabotages
In order: Demon Form (Chapel), Release a Demon (Hospital), Poison Water Pump (Crime Alley), and Sacrifice Bell (Cemetary). Ducks have all 4 sabotages every game, and the two demon sabotages can be called in addition to pump or bell.

Demon Form
All players will transform into unique demons for about 20 seconds. Players cannot ring the bell or identify other players by anything besides their voice. Bodies can be reported and ducks can still see player names.
Release a Demon
Summons a demon that is visible to all players, which will chase the nearest player, and it will temporarily freeze the player it touches.
Poison Water Pump
Critical sabotage that must be fixed or else the ducks win. Meetings cannot be called but bodies can be reported.
Sacrifice Bell
Summons a bell to a random location on the map. If the bell is not picked up in time, a meeting is started where a player must get voted out, or else a non-duck, non-dodo will be sacrificed at random. Players can report bodies but cannot ring the normal bell while sacrifice bell is active.

Day/Night Cycle
The circle around your mini map shows you when the night will start and when it will return to daytime. You will hear an owl hooting when it turns to night, and birds chirping when it returns to day. Everything on the map looks corrupted at night, and the map physically transforms when it turns to night (even your player interface). You still have normal vision at night, and night lasts for a much longer duration compared to Corruption mode.

Body Disposal Areas
Much like on The Basement, Bloodhaven has two spots where bodies of players killed will disappear, or where the Undertaker can dispose of bodies. One is a furnace and the other is a closet.

Ghosts and Candles
Ghosts can put out candles by floating over them, and living players can see it happen.

Open Casket Jumpscare
There is a low chance of getting jumpscared while opening the casket in the morgue.
Bloodhaven (BH) CORRUPTION MODE
Several things about Bloodhaven are the same in corruption mode as they are in classic, but below are the notable additions and differences.

Sabotages: Basic Demon, Invisible Demon, Helper Demon, See Corruption
Achievements: Have all 3 demons summoned at once

Bell location: Chapel
You cannot ring the bell at night or if you are corrupted.

Day/Night Cycle
All players turn into demons at night, and only ducks can see player names. You can hear other players, but no other identifying markers like farts or pets will be visible. At night, you can see a player get killed right in front of you and not know who did it. YOU CANNOT RING THE BELL AT NIGHT.

Corruption
There are corrupted items scattered across the map that can be picked up by anyone at all times, but only ducks can see them during the day. If you pick up enough of these items, you will become corrupted. This will cause you to see yourself as a demon, even during the daytime, but you will still appear as normal to other players. Most non-duck roles do not want to become corrupted. The ducks benefit from picking up corruption, as lowers sabotage cooldowns and is necessary for certain abilities. You can see how many corrupted items you've picked up on your role icon, via a green liquid that will completely cover your player icon if you become fully corrupted. Ducks are always considered to be corrupted but cannot become corrupted. Once you are fully corrupted, you can become un-corrupted by completing a few tasks. If you instantly become corrupted, especially while you aren't moving, you were either corrupted by the Crow or caught by a demon (the demon will also freeze you). Corruption wears off over time if you aren't fully corrupted. Everything in Bloodhaven is technically always corrupted, which is why players will see the map for what it is when they become corrupted. YOU CANNOT RING THE BELL IF YOU ARE CORRUPTED.

Corruption Map
This map shows all possible corruption spawn locations. Only a certain number will be active each game, and the distribution is random. There is a delay after the game starts before any spawn, they will respawn periodically after being collected, and they will respawn in the same locations (spawns are consistent within each game, but random between games).

Sabotages
Unlike in Classic/Draft, all sabotages are available on a long cooldown from the start. All four can be called independently, so you can have all four active at once. The Helper Demon and Basic Demon can only be called at night. An evil laugh can be heard by all players when a demon catches a player. You know you've been caught by a demon if there are chains over your role icon.

Detect Corruption
You can see corrupted players on your minimap in real time.

Basic Demon (Night only)
Summon a demon that chases a player. If they catch the player, the player becomes corrupted and is unable to move for a period of time.

Invisible Demon
Summon a demon that chases a player. Only the player being chased will be able to see it. If they catch the player, the player becomes corrupted and is unable to move for a period of time.

Helper Demon (Night only)
Summons a demon that follows a duck. If they make contact with the duck, they will gain full corruption benefits towards using other sabotages, or towards role-specific duck abilities.
Eagleton Springs (ES)
Quick Breakdown
Bell Location: Street, right of Diner
Sabotages: Lights, Infection (2), Doors, Doors, Disable Rejuvination Pod, Disable Phones, Call School Bus
Vent Locations:
Map Hazard(s): School Bus
Special Notes: Has a sewer system that all players can use, phones across the map that all players can use, and a rejuvenation pod that can clear certain status effects.
Other Notes: The tenth map, released on 8/28/2023 in update 2.27, part of the Retro era.
Achievements: Play 25 games; win 250 games (see THIS guide for more achievements, this map has a lot!)

Bell Location

Sabotage Locations
Electrical Station (Lights), Arcade (Infection), Diner (Infection), Sheriff Station (Doors), Secret Lab (Disable Rejuvination Pod), Radio Station (Disable Phones), School (Call School Bus).

Sabotages (General)
When called, every sabotage will create an infection in the sewers, and most of them create an additional effect that benefits the ducks. An affected building will show signs of infection. None of the sabotages are critical, but the effects can be stacked and continue to plague the map until someone goes to the sewers and clears the infection. You cannot tell which sabotage was called from the task list; you must instead observe the area around you for signs of infection, signs of the secondary effects, or you can go to the sewers to check (the infection is always under the affected building).

The Sewers
Below the main map, there is a full-size, 1:1 scale series of navigable sewers that all players can access. Manhole covers are used to reach the sewers, and ladders are used to get back to the surface. This area tends to be used most by the ducks, as the Drone can transform to move faster through the sewer, and it is dangerous for geese to stay down there. Players must go to the sewer to clear infection. Access to the sewers is disabled in most game modes besides Classic and Draft.

Toilets
While an active sabotage is affecting a specific building, ducks that can use the toilet in that building to go to and from the sewer. Toilets cannot be used when there is not an active sabotage in the building. The sewer-side access to each toilet can be seen in the map above.

Phones
There are 8 phones located across the map. All players can use the phones to communicate with any and all other players who are also using a phone. You can mute and deafen while using a phone like you can with normal game audio. You have to be careful what you say over the phone, however, as you do not know who might be listening (basically, only say things you would be okay with the whole lobby hearing). Other players near you can still hear what you are saying while you are on a phone. The phones can be used in most game modes.

Rejuvenation Pod
In the Science Lab, there is a pod that can clear certain status effects, and it can be used once every few minutes. It requires two players to operate, as the player wishing to be cleared of an effect must stand at the pod, and another player must press a button on the nearby computer. As of now, the only effect the pod can clear is the Esper’s ability (if you are successful, the Esper will die instead of the Esper’s target). The pod CANNOT clear the effect of the Pigeon, Party Duck, or Silencer Duck.

The Bus
The bus is a sabotage that the ducks don’t always have. It drives through the main street, can go either direction, and will kill any and all players standing in the street, leaving behind just a smear. It will continue to come by periodically until the infection under the school is cleared.
https://youtu.be/Y2r9Agqi7C4

Automatic Door
There is a set of doors between the Science Lab and the Radio Station. These open on a delay when a player approaches them. These doors are left completely open in some game modes, such as Goosehunt and Task Race.

Hot Wire Car Task
If a living goose successfully hot wires the car, a global sound can be heard by all players.

Secret Room
There is a secret room in the sewers that can be opened, but the developers have made it clear that it will be extremely difficult to open.
The Carnival (CL)
Quick Breakdown
Bell Location: Northwest of Circus Tent
Cameras/Intercom: Has both
Sabotages: Lights, Roller Coaster, Pick Up Litter, Catch Rabbits (2)
Vent Locations: None
Map Hazard(s): Roller Coaster platform, Roller Coaster Sabotage
Special Notes: Has a wheel of effects that all players can use.
Other Notes: The eleventh map, released on April 2, 2024 in update 3.06, part of the Retro era.
Achievements: Play 25 games; win 250 games; and many more!

Bell Location

Cameras
Task to activate, where they can be used (both in Security), and what you can see on cams.

Intercom
Task to activate (North Fairgrounds) and where they can be used (Security).

Sabotage Locations
Lights (North Fairgrounds), Roller Coaster (North Fairgrounds), Clean Up Litter (Concessions), Catch Rabbits (South Fairgrounds). The ducks have every sabotage every game, but must spend 3 tickets for the Lucky Spin variant of Catch Rabbits.

Catch Rabbits
The normal version of this sabotage requires players to catch three rabbets that spawn across the map and actively run away from players. By spending 6 tickets, the ducks can instead force a living non-duck player to become one of the three rabbits (Lucky Spin variant). The selected player wins with the ducks if they can survive. The rabbit player will die if caught. A Falcon/Pelican in their respective hunt are not immune to becoming a rabbit.

Tickets
Tickets can be earned by completing tasks, by killing other players who have tickets, or by spinning the tickets wedge on the wheel of effects. Tickets can be used to spin the wheel of effects, as well as to call the Lucky Spin Catch Rabbits sabotage. You can't have more than 99 tickets. Classic and Draft modes only.

Roller Coaster
There is a roller coaster with enough room for 16 players that can be ridden between the top and bottom of the map, or just for fun. Make sure not to stand on the tracks, as the coaster can kill you. Also be aware that the coaster can be sabotaged to kill you while you ride it as well.

Wheel of Effects
In the casino, there is a wheel of effects that all living players can spin if they have 4 tickets. Each spin yields a random effect; some good, some bad. Players can keep spinning as long as they have enough tickets. There are several achievements associated with the wheel (spinning 5 times, being simultaneously partied and concussed, spinning tickets 3 times, and winning as the Dodo with extra votes from the wheel). Classic and Draft modes only.

1. Tickets
This space awards you 10 tickets, which you can use to spin again.

2. Meeting Votes
You will receive 2 additional votes in the next meeting. This effect can stack, so avoid spinning again in the same round if you spin this one.

3. Speed Boost
You receive a temporary boost that lasts 60 seconds.

4. Concussion
Your vision temporarily becomes black and white, sounds are distorted, and you can't see cosmetics on other players. You are teleported to a random location as well. Lasts 30 seconds.

5. Party
Your voice becomes high pitched immediately, and the effect lasts through the end of the next meeting. This effect is disabled in text-only lobbies.

6. Roller Coaster Speed Boost
The roller coaster becomes faster. This effect is permanent and the coaster will become faster each time this effect is spun.

7. Bomb
You are teleported to a random location on the map with an active bomb.

Salvidor the Tiger
Salvidor will happily dispose of any bodies killed near or drug to their mouth.

Crystal Ball
One task on the map is to clean the crystal ball, which will show you the visage of a non-spectator player in the lobby. This image is completely random and has nothing to do with a player's role, but you will likely hear people talk about players seen in the crystal ball as being a certain role, or perhaps part of a "prophecy." These are baseless claims, but fun nonetheless.

Speed Up Roller Coaster Task
This task is randomly assigned to one or more players. Make sure not to get run over by the roller coaster while attempting to complete it, or just avoid it to be safe. Disabled in Task Race, Goosehunt, and Hoot & Seek.

Yes! You can go in if you can figure out how to open it. It's still a mystery!

Thank you so much! I was playing and told the whole lobby what the sabotages were and that we can put out candles as ghosts (bloodhaven) and I can’t wait for that secret to be revealed! I’ll have to keep checking this post regularly

Thank you so much for these details! This opened up some new moves on every map for me now (to consider)!

Sometimes Sheriffs will guard sabotage tasks, or walk between a couple of them. There's no way to know for sure that someone is doing the sabotage, but especially with task pool, there's a decent chance that anyone on those tasks is a duck since geese can ignore sabotage task equivalents. It's less about knowing and more about typical player behavior. I have done this myself multiple times. I'm not always a fan of camping sabotages, but it works relatively well. It's exactly why it's sometimes better to not activate any sabotages as a living duck (and to activate everything after you die).

But how could the person know and shoot 2 ducks at the beginning... doing the same stuff "first" which made them sus? They just went somewhere and the person shooting them was right?

That would be the sabotages section of each map in this guide. Those are the tasks that are duck sabotages (many are also goose tasks).

Great guide but I have a problem with finding this info:
A dude once succesfully shot several ducks right at the beginning because they were at obvious locations (map: MM) to unlock a sabotage.

I still can't find any information reg. how that system works and how to identify these places. You have any clue?
