The Path of Burning Disintegration (Outdated)
By Aevia
The Vex Mythoclast got quite the buff this season, and with this build, it shreds even harder than you may have thought it could. Let me show you how to make it.

Subclass
Bottom Tree Sunbreaker is the best subclass choice for what we are trying to achieve in this build
I choose Bottom Tree because of Sunspots, they're useful if you aren't Charged With Light and the health regen isn't too bad either.
The Weapons and Armor
The obvious choice for this loadout is the handy dandy Mythoclast.

You can use just about whatever you want for your special and heavy but I prefer Heritage and Ascendancy

For Exotic armor there are 2 pieces that I like to use, each serving a different purpose.

1) The Path of Burning Steps

This is my go to choice as the buff lasts for a while and stacks quickly as you get kills. This is the exotic for you if you just want raw damage.

2) Precious Scars

Precious Scars is also a great choice for this build as you sustain yourself so much when running a matching subclass. You should use this exotic if you care about survival over damage.
The Mods
To maximize our damage potential we will be using a combination of Charged With Light and Elemental Well mods alongside the new Seasonal Artifact mod.

Charged With Light
Only use these if you do not plan on using Path of Burning Steps as they do not stack

Or use this mod for getting charged with light

Thank you for the suggestion

Elemental Wells

Seasonal Artifact
Damage Calculations
With Burning Steps and all the listed mods you will be dealing 183.5% more damage
This is a lot more damage! But how did we get here?

The Math
Path of Burning Steps = 35%
Font of Might = 25%
Particle Deconstruction = 40%
Vex Catalyst = 20%
Multiply these as decimals
1.35*1.25*1.40*1.20 = 2.835 - 1 = 1.835
(We subtract 1 as the 1s were placeholders)
This is the highest possible damage as you cannot combine Burning Steps with High-Energy Fire due to stacking conflicts.

But you're probably wondering what the damage will look like if you use the Charged With Light mods with Precious Scars instead of Burning Steps ehh?
You would be sitting at a comfortable 152% more damage.
You lose about 15% from not having Burning Steps x4 but I would say this is reasonable at the cost of having to collect an orb.

But what about this?
You may be wondering why I wouldn't want to use Hammer Strike instead since it's a global debuff and stacks with all these!! But sadly not anymore. As of patch 3.3.0.3 Particle Deconstruction no longer stacks with global debuffs outside of Divinity.
Ending
Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope this build helps burn brighter than ever before

ooh that's an interesting idea

Possibly pair it with bottom tree dawn or well for solo content

This build could probably work on Warlock if you use something like Mantle of Battle Harmony

Quick charge is also an excellent pairing with Vex. Can be used instead of (or with) taking charge
