Beskrivning
This is Boot Hill 2d Edition from TSR Games, circa late 70s/early 1980s. Yes, I'm aware there's a 3rd edition, but I prefer the second, with its focus on very light role playing and more skirmish/table top battle feel. I made this for solo use, but I'm sure it can be adopted for multi-player with minimal work.

I tried to upload a bunch of scenarios and it seemed to crash everybody's TTS (sorry! First time releasing anything for this program!). This is my attempt to pare back in the hopes that's all the issue was - I swear all the assets are in the steam cloud, or that's what it keeps telling me at least. If this is successful, I'll just release each scenario individually and y'all can combine as much as you want. So what's in this particular package?

This is a barfight between Clay Allison and his rowdy band of drovers against the Dodge City Peace Commission and a couple of their buddies, circa 1883. Rules for the scenario are in the notebook. Boot Hill game rules are included, as are wound counters, the Boot Hill gamemaster screen scan, a new saloon with multi-floor colliders, and several new figures. If all else fails, I'll just start releasing individual figures and assets. But dang it, one way or another, we're playin' us some Boot Hill!

I chipped away at this for the better part of a year, after making a very late discovery of TTS. That means I did a lousy job tracking the sources of the terrain, background, animals, etc. If you see your work in here, no offense was intended and I'll gladly give you credit if you'll let me know. Thank you so much for your wonderful contributions!

I do know I have used:

The Memory Bag https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=953770080 or one of its offshoots

Buildings from https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=606814044 and from
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1291055140

The saloon (including most of its furniture) was a free asset in the unity store that I stripped the roof off of and added some colliders to take advantage of the stairs and second floor balconies.

I made a bunch of figures using heroforge - drovers, gamblers, lawmen, cavalry, indians, etc. Some are here and some will have to come in other scenarios.

If we ever get this working, you like it, and you want to do anything to say thanks, get a digital subscription to heroforge or otherwise buy a TTS character from them and post it so they can be added to Potential, TX, my fictitious city in 1876. I'd love to get its population up a bit.

Music can be changed by clicking on the player piano in the saloon and changing its state. The choices are some ragtime songs I found and some of the music from Westworld that was done in a retro-ragtime style, like Black Hole Sun. Characters also have multiple states, depending on their role, but everyone should at least have a death/KO option to track who's knocked out of the fight.

Above all, I hope you enjoy what was one of my favorite childhood games.

Sandbox with this and many other scenarios is now available in my workshop. Should all work now. :)

Thanks for the heads up Mark. See if my latest update fixes him or if there's still an issue.

Hey Charlie,
Clay Allison seems to be floating again (or I missed it the first time), maybe when you return...thanks!

Glad you're enjoying them! i ended up getting the annual subscription to HF which gave me 60 credits. Used about 15 credits on D&D figures before I knew what I was doing, then used 16 to make these and the other wild west I plan to release. It's a big investment (about $180) but I think it's paying off, especially after seeing some online tutorials and getting some help from Cheddar about how to make more modular figures.

53 and same! Feel free to use the figures publicly if you ever feel like posting your town.

Also check my response in the Cavalry thread please, and let me know if we got them fixed. thanks Mark!

Making those kinds of dioramas is what I do for fun. They 're still game-able, but I just love designing the 'sets'. At 65 I still just want to play with army men!

Nice! I have a sandbox that has a bunch of the western buildings and some of the terrain i used. once I have the figures all sorted and posted, I may upload it for one-stop shopping. It's a shame the scenarios didn't work (the game thinks they're cloud-based but those cloud uploads are gone, so every single piece has to be replaced manually). Maybe I can upload some pictures of what I had, but it was my version of a western town, a Mexico set, a bandit hideout in a less-than-abandoned mine, a train robbery, etc. You can see the notes still in the notebook for this mod.

Hey Old School Oni,
The figures are amazing, thanks for uploading them. I've already combined several of my mods to incorporate your stuff into a full Wild West Town.:summer2019flag:
