In today's guide, we're gonna learn everything about RE:Village's Story, Characters, and Walkthrough.

Lets Start With Winters' Family!!!

In this episode you'll meet Mia Winters, Rosemary Winters, Ethan Winters, Chris Redfield, and Lycans.

Lets start with the characters:

Mia Winters:
Mia Winters is a former operative for The Connections who worked covertly in the birth of Eveline, acting as her "caretaker" for her while covering up her career as a worker at a "trading company" to her husband, Ethan. After being presumed dead in 2014, she was recovered by the Baker family, and resided under lock and key at their property until being re-discovered in mid-2017.

After Eveline's death, Mia and Ethan started a family again and Mia gave birth to their daughter, Rosemary Winters. However, Mia was captured and used in experimentation by Mother Miranda and her cult in an attempt to use Rose as a vessel to revive Miranda's late daughter, Eva.

Rosemary Winters:
Rosemary Winters is an American superhuman. The daughter of mutants Ethan and Mia Winters, Winters' body was comprised entirely of Mold, which was replicating human DNA. Following her rescue from an outbreak in Eastern Europe, Rose grew up in the United States under special protection.

Ethan Winters:
Ethan Winters was an American mutant trained as systems engineer. One of many mutant victims of biological weaponry, Winters was infected with a weaponised species of "Mold" during the 2017 Dulvey incident. He and his wife Mia were rescued by the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance, and were placed under witness protection in Eastern Europe. This protection ultimately unravelled in February 2021 when their daughter, Rosemary, was abducted by Mother Miranda. Winters was successful in rescuing Rosemary, but gave his life to protect a BSAA tiltrotor.

Chris Redfield:
Chris Redfield is an American operator in the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance, in which he has served since its foundation in 2003. Redfield has built up and dedicated his career in destroying Bio Organic Weapons and fighting against producers and sellers of bioweapons after his experiences with bioterrorism in 1998. He is the older brother of TerraSave member Claire Redfield.





The very first local you meet.
He asks: "Do you have a gun?"
He gives a pistol, and Lycans kill him.









Lycans:
The Lycans are a mutant human species whom are noted for their canine-like characteristics resulting from an outbreak of Mold in Eastern Europe and the infestation of the Cadou parasite. From 1919 to 2021 they had carved out their territory in an isolated mountain village, where they preyed upon other humans. Lycan are believed extinct following the region's destruction by the Fungal Root.

Meet The Villagers And The LYCANS!!!

In this episode you'll meet Uriaș, Old Hag, Leonardo Lupu, Elena Lupu, Iulian, Luiza, Anton, and Roxana.


Uriaș:
Uriaș was a powerful troll-esque Lycan who served as an enforcer for Mother Miranda. Originally the chief of an East European mountain community, he was infected with the Cadou parasite and transformed into a monster, along with most of the other villagers. Uriaș Străjer is his older brother.
His name is derived from the Romanian word "uriaș", which means "huge" or "giant".

Old Hag:
A mysterious villager who appears at different points throughout Ethan's journey. An unassuming woman who utters strange sayings to him, she seemingly helps Ethan along, leaving clues to the whereabouts of his daughter.

Leonardo Lupu:
Leonardo Lupu was a resident of the snowy village in an Eastern Europe mountain range and he is the father of a villager girl named Elena Lupu.






Elena Lupu:
Elena Lupu was a resident to a pagan communal village in an Eastern European mountain range. She was the daughter of a villager man named Leonardo.

"Ethan, go… save your daughter!"



Iulian:
Iulian was a resident to the snowy Village on Eastern Europe mountain range. He is the guard of the safe haven Luiza's house.






Luiza:
Luiza was a village resident of a snowy village in a Eastern European mountain range. She is the owner of Luiza's House, where she gathered any survivors of the Lycan attacks.





Anton:
Anton was a resident to the snowy village in an Eastern Europe mountain range. He is noted to be a pessimistic and an angry drunk.









Roxana:
Roxana was a resident of the Village, located somewhere in an Eastern European mountain range.

Welcome To The Castle!!!

In this episode you'll meet Karl Heisenberg, The Duke, Bela Dimitrescu, Daniela Dimitrescu, Cassandra Dimitrescu, Alcina Dimitrescu, and Moroaicǎ.

Karl Heisenberg:
Lord Karl Heisenberg was a human mutant who lived in an Eastern European mountain range. A genius in engineering, he is presumably the patriarch of the Heisenberg family. He runs the inherited Heisenberg Factory, located just outside the village, and serves Mother Miranda, along with the other three major houses in the mountain range.

The Duke:
The Duke is a mysterious, morbidly obese character who serves as a merchant and aids Ethan Winters in Resident Evil Village. He has been the resident merchant of the village for years, profiting well from his business transactions. He becomes an important guide in Ethan's journey to rescue his daughter Rosemary.


Bela Dimitrescu:
Bela Dimitrescu was a chimæric mutant human born from the Cadou research project, and an adopted daughter of Countess Alcina Dimitrescu. She resided at Castle Dimitrescu with the rest of her family, including fellow adopted siblings Daniela and Cassandra. She was the oldest daughter, noted to be quiet but with a strong head on her shoulders. She was killed during a raid on the castle by Ethan Winters.

Daniela Dimitrescu:
Daniela Dimitrescu was a chimæric mutant human born from the Cadou research project, and an adopted daughter of Countess Alcina Dimitrescu. She resided at Castle Dimitrescu with the rest of her family, including fellow adopted siblings Bela and Cassandra. Daniela was the youngest daughter and she was noted to be the most delusional of the three. She was killed during a raid on the castle by Ethan Winters.

Cassandra Dimitrescu:
Cassandra Dimitrescu was a chimæric mutant human born from the Cadou research project, and an adopted daughter of Countess Alcina Dimitrescu. She resided at Castle Dimitrescu with the rest of her family, including fellow adopted siblings Bela and Daniela. Cassandra was the middle child and she was noted to be a sadist who particularly enjoyed tormenting and killing her victims. She was killed during a raid on the castle by Ethan Winters.

Alcina Dimitrescu:
Countess Alcina Dimitrescu commonly referred to as Lady Dimitrescu, was a mutant human aristocrat. From the 1950s until her death in 2021, Dimitrescu maintained a pseudo-feudal rule over the peasantry near Castle Dimitrescu as one of the Four Lords of the region. For more than sixty years, Dimitrescu was feared by the locals over allegations of mass murder and cannibalism, which were later found to be true. She was killed by Ethan Winters in February 2021, after conspiring with Mother Miranda in the abduction of his daughter Rose.

Moroaicǎ:
Moroaică are a variety of human mutant that arose in a mountainous region of Eastern Europe. These were Mold-infected victims of serial killer Alcina Dimitrescu and her daughters who were restored to life but suffering mental degradation. The Moroaice were named after the Moroi, a vampiric creature in Romanian folklore, with the name Moroaică indicating a female Moroi.

Inside and Out of the Castle!!!

well in this episode, we don't have any new characters but you can see another form of Lady Dimitrescu, and some terrifying Facts you need to know.


1.Taller Than the Tallest Human:
Before Resident Evil developer Capcom revealed her name, the villain was referred to as “Tall Vampire Lady” on social media, and for good reason: she’s 9’6”! That’s taller than the tallest human in recorded history. That would be “The Giant of Illinois,” a man named Robert Wadlow, who was 8’11” and at one point toured with the Ringling Brothers Circus.

2.The First Vampire in the Series:
Her appearance isn’t the only thing that makes Lady Dimitrescu so interesting. She’s also the first vampire villain in the franchise’s history. Resident Evil has largely avoided the classic monster canon up until this point, favoring zombies and monsters grown in labs over the creatures found in Universal and Hammer horror films.


3.Callback to Castlevania:
While she marks a first for Resident Evil, Dimitrescu’s role as the bloodthirsty Lady of a giant castle full of spooky creatures is rooted in a classic video game trope. The concept of a vampiric final boss was originally popularized by the Castlevania series, which is largely set in Dracula’s haunted castle full of monsters.


4.Dimitrescu’s Daughters:
Lady Dimitrescu isn’t the only vampire in the game. She has three blood-sucking helpers she refers to as her daughters. While Dimitrescu’s attire exudes elegance, Bela, Cassandra, and Daniela lean into the grotesque, down to their smiling, blood-covered faces.

In this episode you'll meet The Samcă.

The Samcă:
The Samcă is a type of human mutant that arose in a mountainous region of Eastern Europe. It is a Mold-infected victim of serial killer Alcina Dimitrescu who was restored to life while suffering mental degradation and physical mutation into a feral, bat-like creature. It is named after a folkloric monster said to afflict pregnant women and young children with disease.

Giant baby:
The Baby was a highly grotesque creature resembling a deformed fetus, encountered by Ethan Winters in House Beneviento while experiencing hallucinations caused by Donna Beneviento and her fungus-infected plants.




Donna Beneviento(Angie):
Donna Beneviento was a mutant human doll-maker who resided in an Eastern European mountain range. Dressed in a black garb, she was usually seen with her doll, Angie, through which she often communicated.




Legs Flask:
Legs Flask is a key item in Resident Evil Village. It is one of the four flasks containing Rosemary Winters and is the one given to Donna Beneviento.

Underwater Monster!!!

In this episode, you'll meet Vârcolac, Salvatore Moreau.

Vârcolac:
Vârcolac is a variety of genetically-modified chimeric mammal which lived around a isolated mountain village in Eastern Europe. Named from the Romanian word for "werewolf", they were the result of human experimentation with the splicing of wolf DNA. All vârcolaci are believed dead following the ecological destruction of the region in February 2021.

Salvatore Moreau:
Salvatore Moreau was a mutant human who lived in an Eastern European mountain range. Presumably the last surviving member of the Moreau family, he resided at the Moreau Reservoir until his death in 2021.













Arms Flask:
Arms Flask is a key item in Resident Evil Village. It is one of the four flasks containing Rosemary Winters and is the one taken from Salvatore Moreau.

In this episode, you'll meet Soldat Eins, Hauler, Soldat Zwei, and Soldat Jet.







Soldat Eins:
The Soldats Eins were mutant humans resulting from the infestation with the Cadou parasite and mechanical modifications. Their name is derived from the German word "Soldat", which means "Soldier".

















Hauler:
The Haulers are mutant humans resulting from Mold infected corpses and mechanical modifications. They act as guards and workers of Heisenberg's Factory.















Soldat Zwei:
The Soldats Zwei were mutant humans resulting from the infestation with the Cadou parasite and mechanical modifications. Their name is derived from the German word "Soldat", which means "Soldier".













Soldat Jet:
The Soldats Jet were mutant humans resulting from the infestation with the Cadou parasite and mechanical modifications. Their name is derived from the German word "Soldat", which means "Soldier".

The Soldats Panzer were mutant humans resulting from the infestation with the Cadou parasite and mechanical modifications. Their name is derived from the German word "Soldat", which means "Soldier".

Karl Heisenberg

In this episode, you'll meet Sturm, Mother Miranda.








Sturm:
The Sturm was a Soldat in Resident Evil: Village with an aircraft engine in place of its torso.


















Mother Miranda:
Miranda was an Eastern European biologist and cult leader who ruled over an isolated mountain village from 1919 - 2021. After losing her only daughter to the Spanish flu, she discovered and became infected by the Mold within a nearby cave. Gaining vast knowledge and superhuman powers from the infection, she pioneered research on this mysterious fungus and used it to conduct experiments on local villagers over the next century, hoping to find the perfect vessel to revive her daughter. In February 2021, she abducted the infant Rosemary Winters for this purpose and, seeing no further use for the villagers, committed a genocide by unleashing Lycans on the local populace. Miranda was ultimately killed by Rose's father Ethan Winters, who had become intertwined with a BSAA operation to contain the outbreak.

Rolando Elba is a BSAA operator who took part in a special operation in a mountain village in Eastern Europe. He went by the codename "Umber Eyes" in Chris Redfield's elite Hound Wolf Squad as the team’s sniper.
























Charlie Graham:
Charlie Graham is a BSAA operator who took part in a special operation in a mountain village in Eastern Europe. He went by the codename "Night Howl" in Chris Redfield's elite unit Hound Wolf Squad.



































Dion Wilson:
Dion Wilson is a BSAA operator who took part in a special operation in a mountain village in Eastern Europe. He went by the codename "Canine" in Chris Redfield's elite unit Hound Wolf Squad.

































Uriaș Străjer:
The Uriaș Străjer (meaning "Sentinel Giant" in Romanian) is the older, stronger brother of Uriaș, both pre and post Lycan transformation. He is released from the Mold beneath the Village to battle Chris Redfield from reaching the Black God and hindering Miranda's plans; however, he is killed by the veteran BSAA operator with fire support from John "Lobo" Perlman.

Village of Shadows Story:

Long ago, a young girl went with her mother to pick berries for her father who was hard at work.

But the forest greeted them with a dark, cold silence, the bushes empty.

Yet, determined to find the berries, the rascal broke free from Mother’s grasp and vanished into the trees.

Mother’s worried cries faded fast as the girl ran on; over vine, and under branch and into the forest deep.

Feeling strange eyes upon her, the girl recalled Mother’s scary bedtime tales and her throat became bone dry.

Then the Bat Lord appeared! He greeted her warmly and bit his own wing.

“Come, child. Quench your thirst,” he said.

So she drank the thick, dark blood and smiled with joy.

Passing through a graveyard, menacing storm clouds loomed and the air turned bitingly cold.

The girl was shivering in her thin clothes.

Then a Dark Weaver appeared, and with a click of his fingers, crafted mist into a beautiful dress.

“Come, child, warm yourself,” he coaxed.

So she clothed herself and smiled with joy.

Across waters deep and ominous she went, hoping a boat she found would carry her home.

But hunger’s grip tightened and her heart grew heavy.

Then the Fish King appeared and offered one of his many fins.

“Come, child. Eat your fill.”

So the girl ate and smiled with joy once more.

Continuing on, she soon entered the forest’s dark heart.

Then an Iron Steed appeared, bearing a beautiful, golden gear.

The creature said nothing as the girl approached…

…and snatched what she thought was another gift.

The horse grew angry and summoned the other monsters.

Terror filled the girl’s heart as a wild wind rose about the beasts.

Suddenly, a witch appeared – dark, yet regal.

“Gifts we gave, but more you took,” she snarled.

“So more, in turn, is due.” In a blink, the girl was trapped inside a mirror.

Her parents, though, had searched all day and, at last, arrived.

With rampant rage, Father fought the Witch while Mother’s loving touch shattered the dark enchantment.

But the Witch was strong and Father yelled, “Save our daughter!”

So Mother bore their child to safety as the forest was consumed.

Even now, the burnt forest is a grim reminder of Father’s sacrifice.

To this day, any child who stares too long into the charred wasteland will be haunted by nightmares of getting lost while picking berries.
