My comment wasn't directed to you, silly. There was a dude commenting about your guide being bad and not working on his pirated copy of the game, although he delated one of his comments, but you can still his first comment in it.
Did you forget? You even responded to him.
I've left the guide up as it's still useful to know how to back up your save data. Since FUGA saves over your file after every battle and rest stop, it's relevant if you want to go back and replay a previous chapter to allocate your resources differently.
And yes, is most likely an anti-piracy measure, as all the games in the franchise have that. With the most notorious one being Solatorobo as old Nintendo DS emulators couldn't play Solatorobo due to the game detecting it wasn't a real Nintendo DS and it refusing to let you save the game as a result (alongside not giving you a key item needed to progress the story).
And in this case you can't even argue that you don't have enough money to buy it. Because this game often goes down to only 10 dollars, while you own over a hundred games, most of them are $60 AAA games, and some of them are even $70. And your inventory shows you buy microtransactions in a LOT of games.
