Also Companies are very anti modding nowa days, you shouldnt white knight for them in general, they dont care, you dont get head pats for any of this, the only ones that appreciate mods are the users/community and yet here are people who shill for bullcrap monetisation strategies and horrible writting

Hey, Herocrafter, just out of interest how can you speak for these three companies? You are as far as I can tell nothing to do with any of them, and if you were something to do with them why would a company use a private steam account to convey these types of 'warnings'. Additionally, what exactly are you doing '''warning''' someone for something they haven't even done yet, on behalf of a company you have nothing to do with?

There is as far as I can tell, absolutely nothing that says you aren't allowed to mod hw3 units into remastered, and as BBI said in a recent Q&A, they don't proactively take down mods that include copyrighted content unless the copyright holder expressly asks them to. The only reason anybody should heed a ''''''warning'''''' like this is if gearbox themselves sent them a DMCA.

Remove Homeworld 3 content immediately.

On behalf of Gearbox, Blackbird Interactive, and MOD.IO, you are NOT to add HW3 content to Homeworld Remastered. If you already have done so, remove it immediately. This is a warning.
