Description
THEY'RE IN THE TREES!

But not as much as RP_Batuu_v2!

RP_Batuu_v1 is a modified and updated rp_anaxes_v2 designed to convert its terrain to that of the Batuu surface scape, loaded with overgrowing trees, grassy floors, a mix of water ways and swamps, with a hint of life in the trees; all that is grown of volcanic overflow from only a millennia ago.

Hold onto your CTs, because when they get out of the pen, you WILL loose them amongst the trees.

Because of the overgrowth, the lighting was dampened here and there on the map to show this, but it was too dark so a gentle fog was added to the map to pressure the senses of being in this forest.

Even though this was a commission work, I still wished to raise that bar for atmosphere on this project! If anything, it now feels like youre on a Halo.

Map Itself
  • Requires nothing
  • Comes with a NodeGraph for easier load in
  • Accommodate 80 players
  • Run well with the 80 players - as long as there isnt NPC spam or special effects.
  • Hyper optimization (nearly every room is optimized to only render that one room when the door closes) Ontop of prop & ent render distances, and chunk load areas.

Base Area
  • Computers have upgraded idle sounds in control room
  • ZAX Super computer added to control room
  • Alarm Sound changed due to requests
  • All jedi stuff moved to the 3rd floor of the base.
  • Added cheap gun range to armory
  • Added more node points for tactical movement around the base.
  • Added new building near front main hangar
  • Added ladders to the top of each of the structures on the outside of the base

Outside Base Area
  • Removed Jedi Sanctuary, all jedi stuff moved to the 3rd floor of the base. The cave and entrance is still there though.
  • CIS listening post moved
  • Added additional lights to the outposts
  • Added a research outpost to the large cave system
  • The North Western part of the map has been revamped into a water outlet for the water fall
  • The Water connected to the water fall has been changed to something cleaner
  • The lighting at the outposts are controlled by the exterior generator at the main base

MISC
  • Surface changed to grass, rock, and dirt
  • All trees changed
  • All bushes changed
  • Added a fog layer
  • Changed the clip distance for things to cut off render
  • Disabled render in distance for all props on surface
  • Added new map event, 'core attack', makes AI attack the external core and inner core. They will open the doors and, disable the fields, and shut off the generators.
  • Added NPC to control door systems

swamp will be removed, the cliff will be expanded, other cliffs will be raised, trying to make 'boxes' for optimization is my number 1 priority.

everything else will just be rp_anaxes_v2.5 with trees instead of flower trees. minus the jedi sanctuary.
