CSGO Rare Weapon Pattern Guides

This is a guide going over every rare weapon skin pattern that I could find that's unique and distinct from the base skin. This guide will not go over how these skins are priced, but do know that a majority of these rare variants of skins will cost you a good amount extra.

P2000 Acid Etched

Full Shamrock Pattern
This skin has a chance of having 2 split shamrocks on either side of the weapon, but this particular paint seed (326) gives you a full shamrock. Generally having any form of shamrock is considered a little more desireable.

Glock Moonrise

Hidden Star Pattern
This skin has a chance at having a hidden star in the little tiny slot below the main glock. This happens to some degree with Paint Seeds 31, 59, 83, 90, 95. 102, 121, 165, 194, 237, 281, 355, 448, 484, 487, 617, 630, 667, 796, 769, 913, 958, 968, 986.

Glock Reactor

Teeth Pattern
The glock can generate with a teeth-like pattern which is generally considered the nicest version of this weapon.

Glock Grinder

No Spiral Pattern
The Glock Grinder generally has a spiral covering a portion of the gun depending on the pattern. The most desired variant is the one with no spiral.

P250 Nevermore

Full Bird
This skin generally has birds sprawled out all around it, but it has the chance to generate a whole bird in the skin. Generally more visible birds are more desired, but these skins are valued very randomly mainly based on what the buyer finds coolest.

Here's some generally solid patterns after skimming through them a bit on wiki.cs.money (not all include birds and they vary in quality): 15, 39, 66, 73, 84, 101, 111, 127, 164, 191, 208, 218, 261, 421, 498, 513, 521, 524, 537, 593, 599, 601, 602, 721, 749, 768, 775, 777, 798, 813, 866, 869.

P250 Crimson Kimono

Top Heavy Kimono Pattern
The red part of the kimono shifts based on the pattern. The most desired ones are the ones that are focused on the top of the gun rather than the bottom.

Five Seven Kami

The kami is a super varied skin so I won't cover each pattern. Here's a handful of them.

Five Seven Neon Kimono

White Pattern
This Neon Kimono can generate as entirely one color, the white pattern being the less desired between white and neon.

Neon Pattern
This is the most desired pattern for the neon kimono.

Mac 10 Last Dive

Seahorse Pattern
This skin can generate with a variety of things on it. However one of the nicer patterns generates a seahorse at the end of one side.

Skull Pattern - Pattern 509
This skin can generate a skull at the end and is the most desired variant of the skin.

XM1014 Seasons

Blue Leaf Pattern
The XM Seasons has a small chance of having a very noticable blue leaf somewhere in the middle of the gun This happens with paint seed: 26, 78,115, 130,182, 234, 286, 334, 338, 390, 442, 494, 546, 598, 605, 650, 659, 698, 955

Full Season Pattern
There is a rare variant of this skin that is fully covered in orangeish leaves that is desired among some collectors. This variant is found in paint seed 80 only.

Galil Sandstorm

Purple Sandstorm
Due to the texture file, the sandstorm can generate entirely purple. Seed 583 and 761 are considered the most 'purple' variants.

White Sandstorm
Due to the texture file, the sandstorm can also generate almost entirely white. Seed 555 and 449 are considered the most 'white' variants.

Tan Sandstorm
Unlike white and purple, the gun can't generate entirely tan, but it can be mostly tan. However, this variant isn't desired much if it all unlike the other 2 variants.

M4A4 Daybreak

Right Sided Sun
The sun in the daybreak generates in a random location on the top guaranteed, however it tends to be most desired on the right side of the weapon.

AWP Paw

Golden Cat / Golden Grenade in Pattern
The AWP Paw is almost guaranteed to have either a golden cat or grenade on the weapon. This happens in many variants but is still desired a good amount more than one without them. Generally they are preferred toward the middle of the weapon.

The lists of the cat or grenade patterns only contain patterns where the grenade/cat is clearly visible on the front half of the gun, and the list containing both will have half on the front, and half of the back. These lists only consist of the patterns I found while skimming wiki.cs.money.

AWP Electric Hive

Blue Hive
Due to how the Electric Hive generates, it can generate an entirely blue or mostly blue pattern. This is the most desired version of this skin.

Orange Hive (on right)
Similar to the blue hive, the electric hive can generate all orange resulting in an abundance of orange.

Fade Skins

The Fade texture is used on a ton of weapons. This currently (as of 9/15/21) includes a Skeleton Knife, Paracord Knife, Nomad Knife, Survival knife, Classic Knife, Talon Knife, Ursus Knife, Stiletto Knife, Navaja Knife, Bowie Knife, Shadow Daggers, Falchion Knife, Butterfly Knife, Huntsman Knife, Karambit, M9 Bayonet, Bayonet, Flip Knife, Gut Knife, R8 Revolver, AWP, MP7, glock-18, and Mac-10.

Generally these skins are measured by 'fade' percent, which you can find out more about by looking up guides for any particular fade skin (as they differ per skin), but generally, the more even the spread of colors, the more desired the skin becomes.

"Max" Fade
This is what's considered the "Max" fade on a mac-10. I won't cover other 'fade' %s in this guide. Look up weapon specific guides for that.

Case Hardened Skins

There are many case hardened skins. This includes (but might not be limited to [last updated 9/15/21] the Skeleton Knife, Nomad Knife, Paracord Knife, Survival Knife, Classic Knife, Talon Knife, Stiletto Knife, Ursus Knife, Navaja Knife, Bowie Knife, Shadow Daggers, Falchion Knife, Butterfly Knife, Hunstman Knife, Karambit, M9 Bayonet, Bayonet, Flip Knife, Guy Knife, AK-47, and Five-Seven.

These skins vary a ton by their pattern, but there are some patterns that are significantly more desirable than their counterparts. However, the same type of patterns are desired on every single case hardened weapon. For example, a Stattrack Minimum wear Case Hardened AK-47 will normally cost around $350 in this day and age. However, the number one AK case hardened (in stattrack minimum wear) with the pattern called the 'Blue Gem' was recently sold for $150,000 in January this year (around 8 months ago), which is probably worth even more than that now.

Blue Gem
This is the most desired pattern from any case hardened skin. There's tons of guides online if you want to find the patterns that are most desired, but generally, the more blue, the better.

Gold Gem
This is the second most desired pattern from any case hardened skin. There are equally as many guides on this variant of case hardened as a blue gem. Generally, the more gold, the better.

Galaxy Pattern
The final pattern is far less desired thant he blue and gold gems, but is still fairy desired over the bsae skin. The galaxy pattern is defined by its many different combined colors with an abundance of purple that give off a more galaxy-like vibe.
