Description
so this here is an edit of Alex_D_Vasilkov's script: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2250811485

what this changes:

-vertical punch 3.25 (significantly increased recoil)
-spread per shot 3.5 (significantly decreased accuracy per shot)
-max spread 40 (increased max inaccuracy)
-spread decay 5.95 (decreased accuracy recovery)
-damage 55.75 (increased damage, but not much)
-range modifier 0.95 (less damage the farther you are)
-cycle time 0.10572 (ever so slightly increased rate of fire)
-clip size 125 (increased clip from Alex's mod, but still less than default)
-penetration power 200 (idek what thats supposed to do, but i increased it)
-penetration max distance 500 (it was at 0 before)
-viewmodel (first person) muzzle flash is now like the ak47's, while the worldmodel (third person) re uses the shotgun's, making it much more noticable
-same reload script and reserve ammo as alex's script
-keeps the metal spring ejects (if there is none, it is likely part of whatever model you have downloaded for the m60)

aand.. thats it, if theres any i havent mentioned post a comment and i'll double check


for comparison, the stats of the normal m60 (without any scripts) are:

-vertical punch 2
-spread per shot 1.6
-max spread 35
-spread decay 7
-penetration power (still not sure what it does) 50
-penetration max distance 0
-damage 50
-range modifier 0.97
-cycle time 0.11
-clip size 150 (obviously)
-no reserve ammo
-generic boring rifle muzzleflash

This is a lot that its changing of course lol, so if you dont like an aspect of what it changes, comment what you would like changed, but dont expect me to do a overly complex script like the admin system, i'm not that advanced, i can only do simple script edits like this

as always, since this is a script, it only works in local servers you host, or in single player

since i dont know anything about best available servers and how theyre made, i cant tell you how to implement this into your custom server, sorry bud :/

P.S, if youre curious about the thumbnail, its a random screenshot, it doesnt have anything to do with the mod itself

though i suppose it varies with the versions i have made, i don't really use this version anymore because i have other versions that i like better

unfortunately, no

you will have to find another m60, and make sure you reload it before you reach 0 in your magazine

but don't worry, you will have enough reserve ammo and the gun will be powerful enough that it is pretty effective and worth taking over your standard guns, even if its not infinitely refillable :)

so you can use your custom muzzleflash from the particle mod

hmm try unsubscribing to it and restarting the game then try with this on again

if that fixes it then the script muzzleflash must be the problem, and i can make a version without the muzzleflash for you
